Please, just Catholics - have a Eucharistic Congress in Atlanta. Does your Archdiocese?
Over the past 10 years, the archdiocese rented a large convention room for a day and a half. Provided by renowned speakers in the world to talk about faith, theology, healing, etc. They have multiple sessions going at once (the general track, Hispanics track track Baby, Kids track, track of the Deaf, Vietnamese road, etc.). denominations offer worship and almost all day. All this starts and ends with a Mass is free for anything (except the convention hall makes buying your food from their suppliers).
It is done in other places?

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles does something similar with its annual Congress of Religious Education for three full days, plus an extra Youth Day for high school students.

I wish that were conducted in each archdiocese! Atlanta is well known and people travel the same across the country. I have spoken to some of my area who have, and they told me that is the most useful and edifying Catholic conference attended.
That sounds like a great event! Unfortunately, the Archdiocese of St. Louis does not have this type of event. It is amazing to me that we have no such thing, however, because St. Louis is a very Catholic city.
I think that sounds like a wonderful idea!
I do not think that the Archdiocese of Detroit is doing something well. However, we have some other impressive annual conference here. There is an annual conference of the men, the annual conference of women, conference call to holiness, and so have a lot of really great opportunities here. I feel so blessed.
