The Bible against Catholicism?

Okay, so I was reading up on religion last night and found this list of all the things that are supposed to do that Catholics are against the Bible. I do not know much about the Bible, so I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is any truth behind all this (BTW, not all types from the list below, simply copy and paste, all the words of someone else)?
  ————————————–…
  # 1) Jesus said not to say the same prayer over and over again … Øvre repetitive rosary prayers … … Our Father and Hail Mary over and over again! Jesus wants to talk to him as you would a friend. Say the Our Father and one time and he says what you want, praise him, tell him what you need, pray for others, pray for you, I invite you to renew your mind and heart, invite him to his heart, I invite you to the mold in which the child has always wanted you to become, be willing to do what you want for your life, talk to him as a friend! He created you in communion with him! Ask Jesus to be on the throne of your life at every step of your guide. Be willing to turn from all his sins … live for him and he will give eternal life!
  # 2) NEVER Jesus instructed us to pray RTO Mary !!!!!!! In fact, said no! Sais that praying to God and Jesus SOLO SOLO can interconnect to the throne of God. We pray to the Father through Jesus. To end our prayers "in Jesus' name Mary can not hear our prayers. She does not have the ability too. She is in heaven, and can only hear one person at a time. And no tears in heaven. She is angry and NEVER NEVER crystals. We pray with people on earth, but all our prayers to God can only TRINIDAD! We pray that people only God.
  # 3) Jesus says in his word the Virgin Mary is not eternal. God says in His Word Mary was a virgin only until Jesus was born. After Jesus was born of Mary began to have sex with Joseph and had other children.
  # 4) infant baptism is unbiblical. Jesus said repent and be baptized. We need to be baptized at the age when we are to make the decision too. Babies who die go to heaven. They are innocent.
  # 5) is composed of Purgatory. It is unbiblical and is not wirtten in the Bible. Jesus told the thief on the cross "Today will be with me in paradise" The word also says: "To be absent from the body is being present with the Lord." It is the Holy Spirit that we clean every day. When we enter heaven we will be transformed and immedietly perfect. No need to burn before. Jesus saved us from it. That is the purpose of the cross.
  # 6) to bow in front of a statue to pray is a break of ten commanmdents. Jesus said to an even creates serious image is doomed!
  # 7) says that Jesus did not abstain from marriage or certain foods.
  # 8) Jesus said not to call anyone on earth fatehr priests still call themselves "father."
  # 9) The Bible says that nobody is safe and has the Holy Spirit living in them is a saint. The Catholic church states that only certain people a saint. This is totally against what Jesus said in his word.
  # 10) We can not get to heaven by being a good person and doing good deeds. Even if a Buddhist all his life going to help the poor if anyone saw Jesus to him and he rejected the message that is not salvation. LOVE false religions enough to tell the truth! People say they do not want to hurt her feelings. I prefer to tell the truth if the truth will receive a ticket to heaven for all eternity!
  # 11) The Catholic Church no longer swears by the Bible. But Jesus says: "Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never!" That is how important it is!

  1. Wolfebla says:

You could have used the search function and find the answers to all these questions - which has been asked hundreds of times here.
      1) Jesus said not to use vain repetitions: emphasis on the word "vain." When we pray the Rosary, we are meditating on the life of Jesus and Mary. That can hardly be seen as a prayer in vain.
      2) Jesus never said we could not ask others to pray. We do not expect that Mary or the saints for answering our prayers, but rather to intercede for us. If you've ever asked anyone for prayer, then as you are "guilty" like us.
      3) Jesus does not say that either. The word "until" is a bad translation, for example, David Mikal's wife had no children until his death. Does this mean that children had when he was dead? I think not.
The so-called brothers and sisters of Jesus were actually cousins. Close relatives are regarded as brothers by the Jewish custom.
      4) Paul baptized whole families and nothing is said about "the exception of infants and toddlers." Baptism is the beginning of our walk with Christ, and there are spiritual benefits to be gained by baptizing children early .
      5) Purgatory is very biblical, that what Martin Luther did not know if hacked 7 books in your Bible because they do not like what he says. Besides being an ancient Jewish belief, the doctrine of Purgatory, with the support of II Maccabees.
      6) Jesus never said anything. The Bible says that an idol of worship is a sin, but not all pictures are idols. If so, then broke his own God orders Moses to make a bronze serpent to stop the outbreak of deaths from snakebite.
      7) The priests have the same right to marry as anyone else. They simply can not be priests and married, that's all. Paul also said he wished that the whole world may be what it was, ie celebate.
And the Church asks us only to abstain from meat on Fridays and Holy Days in Lent. That is almost the same as to prohibit eating meat at all.
      8) Jesus told us not only to call anyone "Father". If you wanted to say that nobody can be called by that title, then both St. Paul and St. John are in serious trouble. Paul said you can have ten thousand instructors in Christ, but only a few parents in the spiritual sense. San Juan refers to the parents in his letters, and it is clear that the reference to spiritual fathers.
Jesus warning us to avoid those who love themselves to be gurus and spiritual importance. He never meant that we could not call anyone "Father".
      9) Once again, you're wrong. Any person who believes in Christ is a saint with a small "s." The saints who lived very holy life and loved God much are eligible to be designated "saints" with a capital "S."
The Church never said that only qualified persons as cannonized saints.
      10) The Church teaches that only half of salvation, and that is through the Precious Blood of Jesus, shed on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for sins. We do not believe in a "false gospel of works" as we often accused. * We do agree with James that "faith without works is dead."
      11) All of the Catholic doctrine is based on and must be consistent with Scripture. Sacred Tradition and the teachings of the Magesterium (scholars of the Church) should be consistent with Scripture and each other when the doctrine is formulated.
I hope you begin to answer your questions. Any of them could have been the subject of an entire post, so I had to truncate my answers. (This is already the longest since I've done here at R & S.)
Seriously, do a search for each item separately, and you'll find more detailed answers that have studied the Catholic faith and really know what the Church teaches. I guarantee it will not be anything like the fans and the Catholic bashers who claim it is.
      Edit:
Note that I'm not calling you a Catholic Basher. Some have responded to their questions, but it certainly was not included in their number.

I am Catholic and I must say you are misinformed about Catholic beliefs.
You say that it is not against Catholicism, but has no hesitation in repeating the lies against Catholics. If you really want to know Catholic doctrine (which I doubt) that would have his "facts" from Catholic sources. We do not expect you to agree with what we believe in ourselves, but attacking with lies is not in accordance with Christian love.

  3. voyc4rmw… says:

LOL, calm down. Catholics have great answers. Not everyone is convinced that the fight against Catholic melted throw at you. Go to Catholic sources to learn more about the Catholic Church and the doctrines. If you disagree with them, you are not going to fucking hell.

Jesus said the truth shall make you free, and if you go to any websites you Catholics began to hear the truth, then, depends on whether you believe or not. Many of us have ever been and Protestants are only familiar with the lies told about the Catholic Church only for good. Adventist 7th day of his example of love to use the book of Daniel (Old Testament) and mix it with the symbols of the book of Revelation (New Testament) and that it is talking about the Catholic Church, but to ignore all symbols that could prove or used on a period.I Church'm just curious how the Fundi and other cults like JW (Jehovah's Witnesses) or 7 th day Adventist can call themselves followers of Christ, but continue lie of the Catholic Church. Here is a copy of a portion of a letter written by ST.Ignatius they learned from the teachings of Christ in San Juan and was appointed Bishop of Antioch by St. Peter ……… This was written around 107AD by St. Ignatius ..
Chapter 7. We will be outside of these heretics
Who abstain from the Eucharist and prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and the Father of His goodness, raised again. Those, therefore, to speak against this gift of God, incur death in the midst of their disputes. But it was better for them than to treat with respect, they could also rise again. It is fitting, therefore, that should keep out of these people and let them either in private or in public, but to pay attention to the prophets, and especially to the Gospel, in which the passion [ Christ] has been revealed to us, and the resurrection has been fully demonstrated. But not all divisions, as the beginning of evils.
Chapter 8. Let nothing be done without the bishop
View all who follow the bishop, despite the fact that Jesus is the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles, deacons and reverence, as the institution of God. No man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let be considered a Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the bishop or by one who has trusted him. Wherever the bishop shall appear, do not let the crowd [of people] as well, though, is when Jesus Christ is the Catholic Church. It is not lawful without the bishop either to baptize or to celebrate a festival of love, but all that is adopted, it is also pleasing to God, so that everything is safe and can be valid.

  11. voyc4rmw… says:

You are crazy. This is not credible for anyone. Except those who rewrote the scriptures without any documentation.
Its source is hidden by RV decidedly perverted rewritten again and again from 1611 until 1816, when it finally was reissued. I have a copy in front of me next to the Douay-Rheims. It is amazing how the RV escaped to the present. Catholics not only to expose their heretical rewrites. By comparing the patristic texts that there is no opportunity for authenticity.
Most of ignorance in the world is the result of this mistaken Bible, sponsored by the Freemasons and Illuminati. By the way, are all non-Catholics, too.
A nut with the name of Craig: There was no Bible for 400 years until the Catholic Church led the Latin texts in a collection. Entire Bible THUMPERS not have a religion, it is not? You do not have a track with no history, tradition, or patristic record. It was the Catholic Church that provided the information to pervert the heretics. Until 1500 there was nothing like the Protestant heretic. Their religion is Protestantism itself. Protest that pride and hatred of God.

Fear and despise the fundamentalist beliefs that differ from yours. That is the reason that drives many fundamentalists speak ill of the Catholic Church. From my experience with fundamentalists are very few of them know what the Catholic Church teaches. However, the Catholic Christians say what they think Catholics believe, they are usually completely wrong when trying to describe the Catholic beliefs. I think it's probably because their ideas about the Catholic faith is reflected in the conversation or the anti-Catholic literature - as Jack Chick comics, etc.
At each point of difference, Catholicism is being claimed full faith evangelical, fundamentalist and evangelical-based on a historical misreadings dogmatism.
When melted bear false witness against Jesus, the church founded in 33AD, they also bear false witness against Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, who has promised to protect his church, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, and that every day in the past century to the end each time, and without a single day gap MT 16:18, 28: 20 , Eph 3:21, 5:23
Catholicism is Christianity complete …. the "mother" church founded by Christ himself.

  13. voyc4rmw… says:

Catholic here. I am confident in my faith, my prayer, Jesus and the ability intercessary Mary and the saints.
Please do not behave like an idiot. Go talk to a person to know about our Catholic faith. You are doing what other anti-Catholics do - copying material that Catholic bashers write and speak. I'm tired of showing my faith "open" people like you.
P.S. If you do not know the Bible, then please read. And then talk.

  14. voyc4rmw… says:

There are many lies and mistruths about the Catholic Church to go around. So far these are what we received.

  15. voyc4rmw… says:

First, the Bible was compiled, canonized and preserved by the Catholic Church. The NT book of the Bible were written by Catholics. Catholicism is not against the Bible. It is against the false interpretation of the Bible. How do you know that your interpretation of the Bible is correct? Any interpretation that goes against the teachings of the Apostles (Apostolic Tradition) is wrong.
      EDIT: For craig b,
You're definitely an ignorant when it comes to the history of Christianity. Peter and the apostles were Jews, but they became followers of Christ, and therefore Christians. The first Christians were Catholics. Protestants separated from the Catholics.

  20. The Smart Guy says:

The Catholic Church is initiated on the basis of apostolic teaching. However, deviated from the truth of the Bible from 5 to century 14th century until the Reformation. There are still many changes that make it back to the truth of the Bible. The Pope and the traditions are more important than the Bible for them. Other denominations believe that the Bible is the sole authority as any other. I agree that in many respects they are far from the truth of the Bible.

The Catholic Church bases much of it in the theology of "traditions". This is as false as it could be! Protestants base their theology in Scripture. Catholics base their theology of Scripture and tradition!
They say that the Pope and the Pope alone is infallible. In 1870, Pope Pius IX said that the Pope has full authority over the Church. In all Protestant denominations - Jesus Christ is the Supreme Head of the Church. In 1302, Pope Boniface VIII said that every human creature should be subject to the Pope for salvation. "(Unum Sanctuary) No Jesus!
Catholic Church teaches that the "perpetual virginity" of Mary and this goes directly against Scripture. Mat 13-54
And you can go on and on and on ……………

  24. LH Catholic By Choice says:

Here's one for you about what the Catholic Church has tried to do. Read Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall carry out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws. They have tried to order Saturday from the fourth commandment, to the third division and a warrant and in two, so they can keep the number of warrants at 10.

  25. lyn1136 says:

You are correct in all here are a couple more. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-5) Let no one seduce in any way, it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. 4 He is in the opposition and himself along the lifts to all that is called god or object of reverence, so he sits in the temple of God, of the public that shows himself a god. 5 Do you not remember that, while I was still with you, I used to say these things?
(1 Timothy 4:1-5) However, the expression says definitively that inspired time later some people outside the faith, paying attention to misleading claims of inspiration and teachings of demons, 2 by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, marked in their conscience as a branding iron, 3 to the prohibition of marriage, commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be involved with thanksgiving by those who have faith and know the precise truth. 4 The reason for this is that every creation of God is good, and there is nothing to be rejected if received with thanksgiving, 5 because it was sanctified by the word of God and prayer [that]. It is surprising how many religions have twisted Scripture to his own convenience. You are doing a good thing to study the Bible and learn for yourself what it says not to trust any man to teach you.If can not show from the Bible, then truth. The church not far from the teachings of Jesus is the reason that their destruction is soon to come.Rev.18 seems some do not believe in the Bible and do not believe that men (2 Timothy 3: 16-17) All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproving, for setting things up, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
Could it be that they may not have the discipline of the Bible is true? If the Bible says its wrong, then it is bad. Unable to challenge the word of God. (Acts 5:28-29) and said: "We are not positively ordered to keep education on the basis of this name, but look! You have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and is determined to bring this man's blood upon us. "29 In response to Peter and the [other] apostles said:" We must obey God as ruler rather than men. (Jeremiah 10: 23) are well aware, O Lord, to earthling man his way does not belong. Not belong to man walking even to direct his step. (Proverbs 14:12) There is a way of standing before a man, but the ways of death are the end of the afterward.Proverbs 2:1-22

  26. Hussein says:

    *** W04 3 / 15 p. 21 The Peace of Westphalia, a turning point in Europe ***
The weapons of the era included pistols, muskets, mortars and cannons, with Sweden as a major supplier of arms. Catholics and Protestants have been locked in conflict. The soldiers entered the battle to mourn, or "Santa Maria" or "God is with us." Troops looted and pillaged their way through German farms, treatment of opponents and civilians like animals. The war degenerated into barbarism. What a contrast with the biblical prophecy: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither will learn and war!"-Micah 4:3.
      *** W74 6 / 1 p. 327 The real power behind Occultism ***
This demonstrates that the ability to exorcise or expel the demons, for example, is not necessarily a sign that God backs up the clerics who profess to have power. Professed Christians and non Christians alike claim success in exorcism: Catholics, Protestants, Jews and even cabalists voodoo worshipers. God is behind some of them? The Bible says "God is not a God of disorder but of peace." (1 Cor. 14:33, Je) He certainly does not work against itself by supporting the factions.
Furthermore, the same methods employed by most of the "exorcists" prove that they are not of God. Jesus was "cast out the spirits with a word," just control them, and they complied, acknowledging his authority. (Matthew 8:16, 29-34, Je, Mark 5:7-13, Luke 8:28-33) However, these religious exorcists "reciting rituals, magic formulas, the use of certain words and statements, which in themselves, are supposed to have the power to exorcise. The formula to be found in Roman Catholic exorcism ritual Romanum may take several hours to recite, and uses religious relics and other religious paraphernalia superstitious-in stark contrast to Jesus' simple commands! However, his "exorcism" often seem to work!
    Why?
The Bible shows that Satan is using supernatural powers to back up these religious imposters, establishing credibility and thus promote their own ends. The Christian apostle Paul predicted a rebellion against the ways of God will be carried out by those who claim to be followers of Christ, and the Worshipful rebels seeking honor for themselves, as the clergy of Christendom do. Then he said: "Satan got to work: there will be all sorts of miracles and misleading signs and display signs, and all the evil that can deceive … because they understand the love of truth that could have been saved. "-2 Thess. 2:9, 10, Je.
Notice that Paul contrasts the appeal of "misleading signs" with "love of truth." Jesus identified the real source of truth when he prayed to God and said: "Your word is truth." God's "word" is in the Bible. True love of truth "is starting to use our minds to learn more about that word, for the benefit of God" simple ways "in our lives.-John 17:17, Acts 13:10, Je.

Most of those who have not changed and the Church has added even more.
Mat 13-54

4 The reason for this is that every creation of God is good, and there is nothing to be rejected if received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer [that].
