The Protestants are mostly Catholics who broke with the Roman Catholic Church. Are similar except that Catholics have no idols (statues and images) with the exception of a cross (crucifix), without the man attached image. Oh and Protestants do not hear confessions .... you confess to God directly.

Catholics in fact relate to anyone else apart from his church as a "heretic." They also feel that the "heretics" must be punished and forced to comply with their religion. You want sources? Contact me.

When I say I am when I am a Catholic in a Protestant group of religious discussion, in the end the majority becomes bad if it is a Catholic fundalmentalist. Probably call a heretic. However, most Catholics are welcome and respect for believeing in Martin Luther Refomation. Protestant refers to people who split from the Roman Catholic Church after the Reformation. Indeed, the Catholic Church is quite corrupt. I already have 2 potatoes Nazi.

It is a religion. Christianity is a sect that broke from Catholicism. The King of England, made the first Protestant Church because Catholics were too strict. Then it became Protestant Episcopal, Evangelical, Calvinist, Pentecostal, etc because it was too harsh typical Protestantism based on the laxity or the point of view. Catholics tend to call all the Protestants, because they are not the original church and therefore almost the same.

- Is Catholic -- Understanding Catholics Protestants be any Christian group that descended from the heretical groups that left the Western Church during the Protestant "Rebellion" of the 16th century. The term comes from Protestant Germany. There was a local council "The Diet of Speyer" 1529, where it was agreed that all matters in terms of doctrine and structure of the local church should be held in abeyance until an Ecumenical Council could be convened around the world and the Church could address the issue and Luther. others have raised. Lutheran groups (6 princes and 14 cities), they were a minority in Germany protested against this decree and that is where the name came from Protestants. When the Ecumenical Council was held, in which Protestants pushed heavily in the beginning, the Protestant group, although invited, refused to attend. The term Protestant in its modern sense, the basic belief system descends from the fluctuations of the 15th century, but maintain some semblance of Trinitarian theology. Here is a great rupture Protestantismhttp: / / www.newadvent.org/cathen/12495a.h ... http://www.creeds.net has a good reference for the specific beliefs of various groups. This term does not include the non-Trinitarian groups (Mormons, JW, Pentecostal Unity) descending from Protestantism, because these groups are not Christians. This term does not cover non-Protestant groups that broke with the Western Church as the "Old Catholics, Jansenists, SSPXers. This term, in any way, refers to any group that broke with the Church (both West and East) before the 16th century, and no group that broke with the Eastern Church since the 16th century. Moreover, there is an academic debate about whether or not the charismatic Pentecostal movement worldwide (in particular, what is happening in Africa) could be a new category because of its utter lack of doctrine and complete ahistorical nature. NOTE: Catholics are taught not to call Protestants heretics MODERNA as a blanket statement about each person. Indeed, the Protestant denominations formaly hold heretical beliefs, and hence a large number of Protestants believe false things are true things, but there is a difference between formal and material heresy, the latter takes place without the knowledge and conviction formal, while the second was held with the knowledge and the formal condemnation.

Probaby traitor ... behalf of any group or denomination that split from the RC cult ... There have always been those who have never bowed to the resident coordinators in order to avoid the division of the CRs. A true Baptist, among others, would not be a Protestant ... although the company has grouped all those who are not in the Protestant Rc soup mix ... I am a Protestant and I'm not in direct opposition to the doctrine and dogma RC. CRs are not of the Christian faith

A Protestant is a protest that - think "protest"-ant. The Middle Ages when men were finalized as Martin Luther began to see that some of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church were not faithful to the Scriptures. There was a good deal of corruption in the CCR, which was so powerful. These men "protested" the teachings and many lost their lives to do so. Luther posted his list of 95 complaints against the RCC in October 31, 1517. He was Catholic at the time and is now recognized as the founder of the Lutheran church. At this moment in history, if you were a Christian against Muslims, Jews, pagans, etc you Catholic. Not that we have names such as: Baptist, Methodist, etc. Christians fell into 2 broad categories - Catholic or Protestant.
