I feel nobody has the right to confront the Vatican on any position it takes. If you make your views and beliefs of public knowledge, then they should be prepared to have some arguments. I am a devout Roman Catholic, but I'm not about to sit here as the Candide of Voltaire and say that "it is God's will that people raped." Not that people ask to get raped or even (in general) put themselves in position to get raped. But if by force or choice, if a woman becomes pregnant, life is created. Abortion destroys life.
