Pastor Billy says: I'm just not a male spectator with me, just having all the answers for Catholic women. One thing ... with regard to the nature of the ministerial priesthood which we understand that this is a creation of Jesus, and therefore can not be changed. PastorArt mentions the priesthood but I am sure that not all professing born again believers are pastors or elders of the Church, and therefore his claim is more disappointing. Lets focus on this issue go, if a very Catholic Honor the Mother of our Lord, why would anyone come to the conclusion that it is inclusive of both genders?

No. It is not a problem. I do not have leadership skills as well. I like being good at what I'm good. I believe that a deacon is a servant in the conduct of other women.

Actually, Catherine, who could not be more wrong. According to the early manuscripts of the letters of Paul to the Romans, which clearly referred to Phoebe as a deacon. No deacon (because this form of the word did not exist in classical Greek), but simply deacon. Also, the names of several other women who served in the offices of the church of the era, including a woman who served with her husband at the head of another church. In Timothy, Paul says clearly that there are only two offices of the church, the bishop and the deacon. Deacons serve the role now attributed to the priests today. Secondly, the whole point of Paul's letter to the Romans was to introduce Phoebe to the Roman Christian congregation. Their mission was to preside over the collection of contributions to the Christian church in Jerusalem. Now, why would send Paul the most important city of the world on a mission as being of vital importance if you consider that women could not serve in the role of a priest? Go back and read an accurate translation of the Bible. Paul was at times contradictory, but does not clearly indicate in his letter to Philemon that there are no men or women in the church, but merely servants of Christ. For me, this is a statement as egalitarian as you can imagine.

I am not a Christian, but this issue really hit home. When I was little (among a million other things) that I wanted to be a priest, you know the line with God knows everything about the creator etc. Then I realized I was never allowed. And on top of that I could not have a family, even if I were the right gender. I asked him why once was, and someone responds, in particular, with some quote that said women were to be completely covered scilent and the church. And that can only be one priest for God and therefore could not have kids. I could not convince myself that Christianity could be for me after that. Even now that there are women priests in some branches, and the class with the son of a preacher. Certainly not Catholic, but I think at this point could not be a Christian in any sect.

Your question is the answer. In fact there are many very strong women who surrounded Jesus during his ministry. Jesus is not the Catholic Church instituted the priesthood. If Jesus has seen fit not you think that would have appointed one of these powerful women during their time? H e did not. I never wanted to be a priest and, in fact, I find it very offensive when the New Age, some women want to be a priest. There are many wonderful vocations for women to fulfill God's plan for your life. If a woman thinks she is a spiritual call of God, who must carry out the same. But never to the priesthood. I have a personal experience of meeting a woman called a priest in a lecture at Two Rivers, Wisconsin. I have found to be very friendly, loving and, indeed, spiritual mentality. However, the general knowledge that he was not a priest be replaced all of these lovely people on it. There is no doubt in my mind that was intended to be a religion of sorts, but it went astray and being ordered by a bishop here in the U.S., only serves to prove that in this bishop does not allow this cree in Jesus or his ministry or his words. The problem is really that, it's not her. I pray often for their opening their eyes to the crime he has done and is retracted. And for the rebel bishop in Pennsylvania that allowed this travesty.

There are no "deacon" in the Scriptures. Yes there are many women who followed Christ ... but women are not to be in authority over men. They must be submissive. Now I know that "ticks" for some women outside ... but the truth is the truth. A deacon is to have a wife and kids ...... women are not wives ... therefore ineligible to be a deacon. A woman can be a servant of the church itself and a deacon is a servant, however, the deacon is a man and a woman is to be in submission to men of the church, and her husband. Phebe was a servant .... certainly, but not when referring to it as a Deaconess. Calling a woman "deaconsess" is a tradition of man, not a BIBLICAL stand. 1Timothy 3:12 For the deacons be the husbands of one wife, their children and resolve their own houses well. 1Timothy 3:13 For those who have used the office of a deacon and purchase for themselves a good degree and great boldness in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.

No, do not bother me at all. I have no desire to become a priest or a woman to see a woman priest. I doubt Mary would approve either.

I do not think it could be one, and I do not want to attend the mass as stated by a woman. Call me sexist, but that's just the way I am.
