All churches should have their tax exempt status removed. Look at the waste. Huge churches of millions of dollars. Not the poor and the sick did not help that involves clergy or congregations fancy dress?

I think the Catholic Church should lose its tax exempt status. For too long, it has interfered in each other and pushed into politics. With Prop 8 in California, for example, the church instructed its followers to vote to amend the Constitution to take away the civil rights of law-abiding, taxpayers. Whenever the church makes its way into politics, that screams bloody murder back and being criticized for his positions. If the Catholic church is going to create, promote and support the laws others must live by the Americans, who must not only accept criticism as anyone else who is in politics should lose their tax exempt status and the level of play.

Those who are and have been abusers of children, along with a higher level than preists covered up that should be in jail for life or worse.
I am not Catholic but I feel the same way about any man in the conduct of any one church denomination.
As far as abortion is legal murder.
Tax is not the issue. If you were in jail, not making enough money to pay taxes.

All churches should lose their tax exempt status. They control millions (if not billions) of dollars and wield the power that goes with that.
Taxation is corrupt, but what is good for the goose should also be good for the look. If the whole world has an obligation to pay taxes, the church should be required to pay taxes too.

How do you intentionally miss the Pastors preached from the pulpit during last year in the same weekend in favor of or against a candidate of their choice to be named and to challenge the law to be changed?

No, I do not think that the Catholic Church must be punished by a prominent priest.
