Catholic vs. Protestant?
Why is that many people do not believe that Catholics and Protestants are the same? Ive seen someone, even after that Catholics are not Christians .. lol. But seriously, there is a difference in the way of taking communion, and Catholics have a little more emphasis on but then Mary Protestant Protestants honor Mary as well. Also the Catholic Church is a bit more structured, but many feel that some Protestant structure isn't a bad thing ..
So why people think they are so different?

We are not so different. It's nice when my cousin came to me and Bautista mass with observations on how it was surpised that the mass was so focused on Christ. She thought it would be Mary centered.
I think people who think Catholics are not Christians just do not understand what the Catholic Church really teaches.
Those who do not know the difference do not realize that Catholics and Protestants have more in common than differences.

I am Pentecostal, and I think that Protestants and Catholics are Christians. Both worship the same God and have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I think that Catholics are a people of God.
I met a girl who was raised Catholic and converted to Protestantism - tried to convince me that the Catholic Church is a cult. Some think that, unfortunately, the Protestants. But, no, that's nonsense.
