never! the Catholic Church founded by Christ in St. Peter's about 2000 years ago, Christ said the gates of hell shall never prevail against his church! The Catholic Church through the Holy Spirit was the Bible and the canon of Scripture has been preserved all this time! so many people break with Catholicism, because it keeps strictly the law of God, which means no gay marriage, no birth control, etc.
That will never happen. Catholicism is here to stay for ever. You could also get used to it.

All religions in the history of the world have their days on earth. May decrease in number, but never disappear. Some old minds is not easy to quit and to insist femilies your stay, there are still more than religions Hinduism and Buddism somewhere out there run by some people quiet.

The Catholic Church in the U.S. is gaining more members than any other Christian church.
Too many gullible people out there who do not want to read the Bible for themselves. They prefer to follow the footsteps of their parents and / or friends and take the easy road. Pope tells them what to do to not have to think for themselves.

That is completely wrong to think that Brazilians are Protestants becomnig by the conservatism of the Vatican, in fact, the Protestant churches in Brazil are 10 times more conservative than the Catholic Church, are almost fundamentalist.
