never! the Catholic Church founded by Christ in St. Peter's about 2000 years ago, Christ said the gates of hell shall never prevail against his church! The Catholic Church through the Holy Spirit was the Bible and the canon of Scripture has been preserved all this time! so many people break with Catholicism, because it keeps strictly the law of God, which means no gay marriage, no birth control, etc.

That will never happen. Catholicism is here to stay for ever. You could also get used to it.

LMAO! Because it will never be in control again

All religions in the history of the world have their days on earth. May decrease in number, but never disappear. Some old minds is not easy to quit and to insist femilies your stay, there are still more than religions Hinduism and Buddism somewhere out there run by some people quiet.

That will never happen. I'm from Brazil and apparently this has been happening, but there are other doors open, so I am sorry to disappoint you, but this will never happen, because Jesus said he was not going to happen and I believe in him.
      God bless.

The Catholic Church in the U.S. is gaining more members than any other Christian church.

Too many gullible people out there who do not want to read the Bible for themselves. They prefer to follow the footsteps of their parents and / or friends and take the easy road. Pope tells them what to do to not have to think for themselves.

2000 years and still going strong.

With the advent of modern technology that allows e-mails and instant messaging on the Internet, TEXT-ing/calling through cell phones, and the CNN News team … it is conceivable that * literally * NOTHING could happen overnight!
Witness the "People Power" held in Philippines to put a dictatorship in the 1980s or overthrow another president in the 1990s and … was through the power of cell phone [TEXT-tion mainly] to each other in the mobilization of masses in a timely manner.
Without doubt, the man consciousness is beginning to awaken to the "sins of commission" and the "sins of omission" of the Roman Catholic Church since its beginning in the 4th century AD, and all along the last two millennia, when the RC Church RULED the Holy Roman Empire for three-quarters time or more than 1200 years … And the RCC is still a leader among all other religions today.
We can only guess as to "how many more years" will have for the RC church to bear his presence or existence, as it can no longer hide, or change, which tells us the story of his falsehoods, lies, greed, and ATROCITIES committed to the crowd through the centuries …
Perhaps even incalculable / hidden "prophecy" of the Third Letter of Fatima spoke of the "End Times" of the RC Church, where the last two popes have been in place … As the saying goes, "Everything has a beginning has an end."
One can only hope that their faithful will now begin to open their eyes and see, hear and be heard, seek and they will find the Truth.
      Peace be with you.

Like all churches, provided they are profitable and the gullible are still sending in their donations to survive.

  12. Gods child says:

The gates of hell shall never prevail against it as Jesus said.

  13. yoeme01 says:

Like many who have left, many are coming to church. The answer is that it will be gone in the return of Christ.
There ork on reunification between Rome and Eastern Orthodoxy, which together number around 80% of Christians in the world.
Please note, the Catholic Church still has the largest number of Christians.

  14. idahomik says:

likly no more until the fight against Christ during the Tribulation takes … most all of the Roman "church" is still around, haveing lost … The Rapture and submit or be killed.

  15. Gustavo CL says:

Brazil remains the largest Roman Catholic country in the world 136 million Catholics. Sexual harassment happenned around the world (all religions), but only in the U.S. is so great. That is completely wrong to think that Brazilians are Protestants becomnig by the conservatism of the Vatican, in fact, the Protestant churches in Brazil are 10 times more conservative than the Catholic Church, are almost fundamentalist.
