Protestant (evangelical) I respect. I hate fundamentalists.
Fundamentalists have this "holy than you" attitude that gets in your nerves. Always claim to know more about their religion than you. Fundamentalists talk as if any could be to the Catholic faith.
Are our modern Pharisees?
How can I take my respect, whether they? Resort to black propaganda and lies. Here are some examples of their lies and propaganda.
+ The Pope is the Anti-Christ (who have been saying since Martin Luther made the accusation).
+ The Church is the whore of Babylon in the Book of Revelation
+ Catholics are not Christians
+ Mary Catholic at the same level as God
+ Catholics Worship Statues and idols
+ The Catholic teaching on the indulgence is a permission to commit sin
+ The Catholic Church is the Mother of all harlots.
+ Catholics Worship Satan
+ The Catholic Church started Islam

If any of these allegations were true that would be the first to leave the Catholic Church. And to add insult to injury to warrant such accusations by saying that "we do not want you to go to hell, we love you", which for us is a lame excuse to attack Catholics. Do they really expect us to drop that line? Catholics do not bash other religions because we believe in ecumenism.
If fundamentalist Christians are so sure of their beliefs about why bash Catholicism? They have already said a million times so no love of our faith. And they point out a million times we will go to hell with those beliefs. So what is really the reason to attack our faith again and again? There can be only two reasons to validate their own faith, or who just want to bash my faith.

Raised in a Protestant family. My father was a minister. My conversion to the true faith is a long one. But that's another story.
Catholic here. Every girl I dated was a Protestant (2 Methodists, Baptists 1) not to bother me. I agree with the first poster. Just another branch.

whether or not you have
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
is what matters most.
The rest is secondary.
We are all children of God, regardless of the manner in which religious label ourselves ……. He will be in our hearts, not our religion …….. He will see if they are kept or not .. ….
I think Catholics have more respect for the place of worship. Likewise, the Protestants say and do many things against Catholics.
What if your only a new birth, we have no say in this thing?
I say throw all religion! NO titles that do not fight for right and who's wrong …….. That is what Jesus will someday.
It has always been a Protestant. Catholics are just another branch of Christianity, and Catholics are my brothers and sisters in Christ. We do not have all our faith in practice in the same way to be Christian.
I see them as my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I am a convert to the Catholic Church in an evangelical Christian denomination. (Most do not go by "Protestant" in these days, even though it technically is where they came from.) I have no ax to grind against my former church, it's just that this is where the Lord wanted me to be , and when I know and serve you better.
