It was always a Virgin Mary, as some Catholics continue to be taught?

Matt. 13:53-56, JB: "When Jesus had finished these parables he left the district, and coming to his hometown, he taught the people in the synagogue so that it is surprised and says, 'Where did the man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers? This is the carpenter's son, is not it? Not her mother, the woman called Mary and his brothers [Greek, one of the ‧ ‧ Phôi '] James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? His sisters [Greek, a ‧ ‧ Phai the '], too, that not everyone is here with us? "
On the basis of this text, you conclude that Jesus was the only son of Mary or that he had other sons and daughters?
Note: Research shows that education is expected around the third and fourth century, together with the Trinity, Hellfire, Limbo, Purgatroy, immortality of the soul ….. Etc. 1. Fisherma says:

No. Mary was married to Joseph and he was entitled to the privileges of marriage such as sex.
The couple had other children, half brothers and sisters of Jesus.
Who had other children besides Jesus is clear from the questions asked by Jesus townfolk who were familiar with his family: "Whence comes this? What kind of wisdom that is worth? … Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, a brother of James and Mr Joses and Judas and Simon? They are not his sisters our neighbors here? "-Mark 6:2, 3, NA.
Jesus had natural (half) brother is also shown by the fact that on one occasion he was told that "your mother and your brothers are outside and want to talk with you." Furthermore, we read that "not even his brothers had great confidence in him. "-Mat. 12:47, John 7:5, NA.
(Mark 6:2-3) When it was Saturday, he began to teach in the synagogue, and more people are surprised that listens and says: "Where did this man get these things? And why is this wisdom has been that man, so powerful and works shall be carried out through their hands? 3 This is the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joseph and Simon and Judas, right? And his sisters are here with us who are not? "So we began to stumble on it.
(Matthew 12:47) Therefore, someone told him: "Look! Your mother and your brothers are outside, trying to talk to you. "
(John 7:5) His brothers were, in fact, not exercising faith in him.

Many people like to point out the fact of translation and virgin girls are the same. therefore, people forget to bring the translation of brother / sister is the same as the first and STEP BROTHERS.

  3. sugarbee says:

After the birth of Jesus, Mary had other children with her husband Joseph.

  4. Matthew says:

No. After she gave birth to Jesus, he had other sons and daughters. Mark 6:3.

  5. Kryten says:

You may not have been. He had several siblings, and the Bible does not mention that they were conceived by the Holy spectrum.

    no …

  7. 'maters Granny says:

Obviously, not as she and Joseph consummated their marriage after the birth of Jesus. Had other children.
To remain a virgin were violated God's command to Adam and Eve to multiply and fill the earth. Both have the civil rights, sex after the birth of Jesus.

  8. NoItAll says:

Do you think she was always a virgin? She was a married woman. How many couples do you know that never have sex?
Heard of the world "coincidence". No doubt the principles of the Christian church used the dates of other religions to make it easier for people to accept Christianity. We have Easter eggs and Easter rabbits. Are nothing to do with Christianity. The fact that the hot cross buns have some similarities with Christian icons was a useful thing to help the transition to Christianity.
The bread and wine used in Christianity is part of the Passover of the Jewish faith.

  9. Leslie H says:

She did not. She had a normal marriage to Joseph, and had children with him, one of the Scriptures clearly show that you quoted. From a purely physical, she would not have a physical after the virgin birth of Jesus.
I read an amusing response to this the other day, however. The question was more or less the same, but someone said that Jesus would not have broken her hymen as he was born, because he was' born as a ray of sunlight, without breaking her maidenhead physically.
What-ever. They could not give me a round to writing one.

    1) Did Mary ever virgin, as some Catholics continue to be taught?
I do not think so - but there is no good reason to believe that * might * not have remained a virgin.
      2) Matthew 13:53-56 - On the basis of this text, you conclude that Jesus was the only son of Mary or that he had other sons and daughters?
The Greek word used here is used more often in the New Testament to indicate that people * not * the brothers that people are *. * Claiming that here means "brother," but in all other passages to mean "involved in some other way" is obviously not a sound reason * not * insist that Mary remained a virgin.
      3) Note: Research shows that education is expected around the third and fourth century, together with the Trinity, Hellfire, Limbo, Purgatroy, immortality of the soul ….. Etc
Evidence for this assertion? I know that some of these doctrines before the 3rd century. Whose "research" showed that?
      4) The priests of Mithra were known as "Fathers" and priestesses of Cybele as "Mothers."
Therefore, were the priests of the Jews known as the "fathers" in Jesus' time - as the Scripture clearly says. The traditional Christian title of "father" is derived from Jewish practice, not pagan.
All his "Mithraism" information appears to be rather boring and not even a little on this subject. It seems very doubtful that Christianity adopted the cult of Mithraism Sunday, 8 weeks since Roman days! Christian religious Jewish worship followed 7 days a week, not Roman.http: / / en.wikipedia.org / wiki / Etrusca Week # …
As you can see, Mithraism adapted to the Christian practice - not the reverse.

The fact that there were other children in conflict and can not be solved by our efforts, since the language is ambiguous.
As to his being a married woman - they are not and can not be disputed. Marriage is a sexual contract. Those who teach that she remained a virgin no biblical basis for teaching it.
We must not forget that the hymen has to be destroyed so that an unborn child. To destroy the evidence to be called a virgin - the definition of a virgin depends on it.
God calls upon those who are married to enjoy sexual intimacy. This is not a sin and it would be against their willingness and readiness of married persons.

  13. smart cookie says:

yup Jesus was a prototype copy of the Mithra.

  14. Michael V says:

If not for the note I would have thought it was a direct question - suggests that you already know the answer you want to hear.
That said, the Bible is clear - Jesus had brothers and sisters. I suspect that Mary was married and had a normal life, married to Joseph resulting in the birth of brothers and sisters of Jesus. Certainly, in the Bible, there is no indication of a more "immaculate conception."
The Trinity is the doctrine and the basis can be seen in the first book of the Bible. Certainly was not invented in the third or 4th century.
