Mary was sinless? His Revere why ?????

I have heard first hand of a Catholic priest who said the Virgin Mary without sin. Is this what other Catholics think? What evidence is there in Scripture for this? Also, why Catholics revere her? It was just another Christian as you or me. Only God deserves the glory, it seems that we should worship Him and Him alone.

Many Protestants do not know that both Luther and Calvin recognized the doctrine of the divine maternity. Luther writes: There is no honor, no blessing can come to an elevation which is to be the whole human race, the only superior to all others, unmatched in the prerogative to have a child in common with Heavenly Father "Calvino writes:" We can not recognize the blessings that Jesus brought us at the same time without recognizing how God honored and highly enriched in their choice of Mary Mother of God. "
The Catholic Church has always paid special honor to the Virgin, God honored his creatures, especially for his score to the highest dignity that can confer the divine maternity. The Scriptures tell us that Jesus has been honored with your home under one roof in Nazareth for thirty years until he began his public ministry, and He showed his love to her on the cross, when he left the kindness of their attention disciple, John (John xix. 26). I could never understand how intelligent men expected to extol the Son of God, doing little of the Mother of God. Not win the affection of contempt for our neighbors or making some of their mothers.
How can a woman called Mary, ordinary, and at the same time, pretend that you have studied the scriptures? God chooses an ordinary woman to become the Mother of His only Son, when there were countless millions of women to choose? The prophet Isaiah spoke of his coming centuries before, and from heaven, God sent a special ambassador to announce their dignity supereminent (Luke i. 26), and another for the convenience of San Jose in his doubt (Matthew i. 20). Both the angel and Santa Isabel called her "blessed among women" (Luke 2 & i., 43), and his prophecy that "henceforth all generations shall call me blessed" (Luke i. 48) is fulfilled to the letter every day for Catholics throughout the world.
Instead of detracting from the love of Christ, devotion to Mary increased our love for him. The devotee of Mary, the customer is always a champion of the divinity of Jesus Christ, His Son. Divine motherhood, as the Council of Ephesus in 431 clearly states, has been the standard of orthodox belief in the true doctrine of the Incarnation.
Love of Mary, the masterpiece of God's creation, by its very nature leads us to the love of Christ, His Son. Can not be jealous of the praises that they give to each of its privileges and prerogatives of his own gift. The artist is jealous of the praise you give your masterpiece? The author is jealous of the praise given his book?

Even the Bible says that Mary went straight to heaven, I think that says ascended into heaven. Read the New Testament and find somewhere.

  3. cashelma… says:

Mary was not sinless, Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. How could Mary be declared without sin, without the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, her unborn child? God demands perfect justice, to forgiveness of sin has to be a perfect human sacrifice, so she could have foregiveness, if God declared free from sin, which would go against their own justice, he can not do . If Mary sinless she would never have died, as the wages of sin is death, there is no death without sin, that is why Jesus Christ is the sacrifice is foregiveness rescue from sin, Jesus Christ, should never have died and his life was redeeming value.

  4. cashelma… says:

We must honor his memory, but also need the grace of God and the atonement for you through the sacrifice of His Son.

  5. cashelma… says:

Why do you think a sinful woman to bear the Son of God?

  6. cashelma… says:

"She (Mary) is just another Christian as you or me."
REALLY?? YOU gave birth to Jesus Christ??

  7. two_star says:

Luke 1:28 And the angel came to her and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women

  8. Biblehel says:

Mary was made sinless …. as were Adam and Eve, by the way! At least, that were created without sin, but chose to go into sin.
If the Most High God lived for 9 months in a womb, do you think that ever in his holy place free unpure something? Yes, Mary needed a savior …. but God chose to give her before conception (hence the Immaculate Conception). Him before his talent as a day of gift to us all for "nothing unclean can see God")
Regarding the use of the word "all" as in "all have sinned "…. Scripture says that "all the Jews turned against Jesus." We know it is fake! After all, the apostles were Jews, so Paul, Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea and many others. Do not reject Jesus. Most Jews at the time of Jesus were still living in the place of exile in Babylon after the fall of the First Temple in 586 BC. When they were given permission to return to Israel, most chose to remain in Babylon - therefore they had never heard of Jesus …. so how can you deny that they have not heard of? At the time of Jesus, the word "all" really means "many."

This is Catholic teaching, not teaching the Bible. To see many Catholic beliefs are beliefs that are not in the Bible, and indeed many doctrines as the Immaculate Concept (Mary, sinless) originated hundreds of years after Catholocism began in 325 AD.

  10. SpiritRo says:

Yes, the Bible says was full of grace. No one else was said that way.

  11. Sldgman says:

If "cult" which means, as you undoubtedly do, that Catholics regard Mary as a Goddess, who can imagine he has a divine nature, and to give Catholics, therefore, their honored as pagans give their female deities, the answer is emphatically, NO. That would be a violation of God's law.
If, by "cult" which means honor, respect, reverence, as occurs when the address Your Worship, the judge or others of his rank and station, and the answer is emphatically, yes, but less is a worship misleading term.
We worship other heroes; Worshipful honors be given to mothers of presidents and kings, what reasonable objection can be raised against worshipfully honor the mother of the King of Kings? We revere Mary as a heroine who has given us a son we love more than I love all the sons of men. A su Hijo Divino culto que damos, porque Él es nuestro Señor y nuestro Dios.
Catholics can not but question the coherence of the Protestants that the highest praise for Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Deborah, Ruth, and others, while virtually ignoring Mary. Certainly well above the towers themselves. Is it because Catholics are profuse in their praise and love of Mary?

  12. GodisLov says:

The angel Gabriel said: "Hail full of grace, the Lord is with thee" (Luke 1:28). The phrase "full of grace" is a translation from the Greek word kecharitomene. Therefore expresses a characteristic quality of Mary.
The traditional translation, "full of grace," is better than that found in many recent versions of the New Testament, which give something along the lines of "very supportive of her daughter." Mary was actually very supportive a daughter of God, but the Greek implies more than that (and never mentions the word "daughter"). The grace given to Mary is both a permanent and unique species. Kecharitomene is a perfect passive participle charitoo, meaning "to fill or endow with grace." Since this term is the perfect time, it indicates that Mary was honored in the past, but with permanent effects on the present. So, enjoy the grace of Mary was not a result of the visit of the angel. In fact, Catholics have extended over their entire life, from conception onwards. She was in a state of sanctifying grace from the first moment of its existence.

  13. The Carmelite says:

Mary as God preserved the acquisition of original sin, their preserved by his grace to never commit a sin in your life. This lesson follows essentially from the latter.
How does this teaching of Christ exalts
As with the Immaculate Conception, shows that this teaching of Jesus' holiness requires that He be born of a woman saint, and that can save the uttermost.
      Biblical Basis
Essentially the same as the Immaculate Conception. Mary had never committed a sin in her life, she would not have been an enemy of the devil or a saint ship, so her Immaculate Conception would have been in vain! The fullness of grace which have helped to prevent the commission of his sin.

  14. oldguy63 says:

Consider that if Mary was sinless not have needed to have a child who takes away the sins of the world. Since it could have been a perfect sacrifice for all sinners.
Christ was the only person who ever lived without sin. Mary was a sinner like everyone here and all positions in the world.
      Only God deserves the glory!

  15. Shirley T says:

Luke writes that Mary is full of grace, very supportive. Lk1: 37: "For with God nothing is impossible." She is the "woman" of Gen 3:15, whose enmity with Satan and sin is aboslute. Whe is the Ark of the Covenant (Ex 25:11-21) to celebrate the living Word of God: a holy tabernacle Nade not pure gold, but of pure meat. St. Paul is emphasizing the universal aspect of sin is extended to Jews and gentiles alike. Babies have no sin, Adam and Eve before the fall had not sinned, Jesus never sinned. These are a few exceptions that fall outside of St. Paul's condemnation. Mary is another.
God honored his former taking all the creatures by his mother of his Son. In honor of Mary, we are following the example of God himself. Mary special privileges were given to her by God, not man.
      God bless,

The lesson is that God, their Savior, saved from sin, both original and personal. His soul was in the state of a child baptized.

  17. chekeir says:

I agree. And Mary was not sinless, because then it would have been perfect and that is humanly impossible.

  18. ? says:

AMEN Brother! María era humano como usted y como yo. She needs God's grace as much as we did. It was only vessle God chose to bring Jesus into this world of ours. I think that probably has not sinned as much as he can, but it is far from perfect.
