Non-Catholic Christians: their beliefs about Catholics?
Where do I get?
If you are immediately tempted to say "the bible" and pull quote: you are misunderstanding my question. The Bible did not tell you his views on Catholics. Scriptural difference is one thing - what I want is another. . .
Obviously someone or something you said things about our church so you can begin to formulate their opinions and beliefs about our faith - so that was it?
Is your family?
Your pastor?
TV?
Websites?
Friends?
Youth group leaders?
I just want to know the source of your information. Some people come here with good questions that are correct about our doctrine and want to know more. Normally, your home is a real Catholic. Most people come here, almost on the hour, and wonder why we feel that we are redeemed through Mary, the saints worship and / or statutes, we are not Christians, etc (The list is long) We call CJ the Catholic Church a cult almost all Catholics also directed thread …
So I say the Christians: where are you these views, ideas and beliefs?
Honesty you earn points.

My ideas, opinions and beliefs about God come only from the Bible. Yes, I listen to my pastor, but I also read the Word to see if what he says is accurate. I trust no one but God himself. If the Catholics who would not be a root of the false doctrine of the Pope at this time and that will be saved.
Strictly speaking, I should not answer this question, because I am not a Christian, but I think the issue is so good that I feel compelled to respond anyway.
I have studied many religions, and I know that Catholicism and Catholics.
It is the oldest form of Christianity, and therefore, in my opinion, the purest.
Despite the well-known problems, the Catholic Church is unmatched in its good works.
Anyone who bash the Catholic Church, especially if the person claiming to be a Christian, is nothing but a fanatic.
René O: Ask yourself, when you constantly get as many thumbs down as you do on this subject, do you think it is possible that the garbage you post here about Catholics is wrong? Or has the "100% truth that God somehow granted only to Christian fundamentalists?
I have one problem in the world with the Catholics. I do not think they go to hell. I have many Catholic friends, in fact, most of them end up in a deep relationship with God as any of the people of my church. =]
I have no problem with Catholics at all. I was not Catholic because I can not agree with some of the doctrines, such as birth control, etc. I have more in common with Catholic teaching that some fundamental Protestant churches, although I am a Protestant.
Of the Catholics I know of several.
O.k.
I studied the group of Roman Catholic Christianity in RE (as well as Judaism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Protestant Christianity). I have read many books in the library on the causes of the Protestant Reformation and the beliefs of the RC church.
My father is a Church of England vicar (pastor clergy), I read the books I bought on the subject. My brother became a Roman Catholic a few years ago, I asked him about RC beliefs.
I disagree with several of the RC church practices (asking Mary and the saints to pray to God on my behalf, confession to a priest, Rosario), not practice, as I see them as distractions. CRs if that will help them feel closer to God, well, they are still worshiping the God of the Bible that Jesus took human form and paid the penalty for sin on our behalf.
Yes I would immediately be tempted to say "the bible" because the Bible is the Word of God to man.
I believe that every Catholic is convinced that he / she is a Christian and I know that many, perhaps most, think that their church is "the true church" and that others are inferior. I know they are totally wrong about this sad and feel that they have been deceived for centuries.
The Bible makes it clear that we worship. Makes it clear how the Communion should be taken. It makes clear to whom we must pray. It makes clear to which we confess our sins. It is clear that should not be involved in idolatry and more. It also tells us that those who add to the Bible will be punished.
Why not choose the Bible to support my belief that when the reason given to me. When I read what I can see when they go wrong R.C.s.
If you spent time in prayer (his own prayer for not reciting the church) and read the Bible, with special attention to the verses that have been brought to you by Catholics can not see the truth. To continue to defy those who have tried to help you make you well, but will do much harm - the long term.
I think Catholics are Christians. I attended Catholic Mass on several occasions. I have read the catechism of the church. I served the Catholics during my active service in the Navy. A good number are my friends. I just do not believe in Catholicism, and I could never believe in Catholicism. There is no way a person can make something that does not wholeheartedly believe in. I have my opinions, because of this, putting myself in their worship and talk to people who practice the faith, which was not . That is enough proof for me that could never be that the sect to me, or Orthodox, as it is almost the mirror image of Catholicism. Yes, just in case someone was going to come out and say, I will say to you, Anglicans and Episcopalians have some similarities, but unlike Catholicism / Orthodoxy in major ways in which I am the Episcopal Church.
My son as a Catholic, I would say that Catholics are not hearing the networks and webs of lies, spreading haha. People think that the cult of the Pope, however, when well-educated Catholics say that we see as a successor of Peter and not worship him, yet I think.
What saddens me even more is that when people go around lying about the Catholic faith and practice, however, know that what they are saying is not true, but do so anyway.
I did not know much about my own faith, and although I am a young teenager, I think my eyes were opened to the reality they want to learn about my faith and I have learned much over the past year, and I want to know more about me faith every day. I think it's about the Catholics of my age when they begin to question their own faith, simply because they do not know much about their own faith, or think it's boring mass, or entering new churches and want to go there instead . much of what my family has. I decided to stay with the Catholic Church for the rest of my life, and I think I'm at home. Unfortunately, Catholics, and may even stop then start to tell lies about his faith that it once was. Fortunately, many, many people opted to return home each year.
Catholics have to live always with the intention of bigotry toward his faith, but I can honestly say that fanaticism is the Catholicism that has made me stronger.
I hope that you do not mind me answering this. I am a Catholic convert, and when I was a Protestant thought I heard things about Catholicism.
In my experience, I have heard the statements of anti-Catholic school friends, friends, Sunday School, and some of my Catholic friends. When I was 18 years or so, I asked a friend if Catholic Catholics worshiped statues … I said "yes." Another of my Catholic friends confirmed my idea that Purgatory is a second chance. Thus, among non-Catholics went casually comments on Catholics and some who do not really know what the Church teaches, I thought I had it all sewn up.
Fortunately, God opened my eyes and called me by my ignorance.
ADDED: Rene O - you did not answer the question.
1) non-Catholic Christians: their beliefs about Catholics?
That kind of vague, huh? I mean, you want to know * everything * that I think about Catholics? We will keep it short: I think they are very, * very * Catholic - except those who are not, ie.
2) It is obvious that something or someone told you things about our church so you can begin to formulate their opinions and beliefs about our faith - so that was it?
Can not remember. How many people who spoke with you when you were 5 (or less) Do you remember? In addition, my opinions and beliefs of Roman Catholics are only 2 sources
a) the Bible (who said not to take the Bible - but where I believe the other when speaking of a Christian sect to which they do not belong?)
b) the Roman Catholic Catechism
I think you are looking for an answer that you want to hear. The way you are asking this question seems to presuppose
a) non-Catholics who are critical of the Roman Catholic Church
b) that non-Roman Catholics base their beliefs in relation to Roman Catholicism in the dark
But certainly there are Christians who fit this profile - and, indeed, no Catholic Christians who do not. Maybe if you were to separate the specific question such as, "If you believe that Roman Catholics worship Mary, why do you think?" Or "If you think that Catholics are not Christians, why think? "I think the vagueness of the question * * this is going to get some answers, including mine, are not really sure how to answer it.

If you are looking for an answer, its most likely wasting your time.
Anti-Catholics have and will always be a part of life.
One thing that stands out is the way they think is "the only faith that saves. They are saying that Catholics do not have faith?
The fact that the closure: At first, the Catholics must have "Faith." It is the primary source by which we receive God's grace. They are not exclusive when it comes to faith.
All dogmas, tradition, culture and never above the basic concept. This is the core of all Christendom.
It is true that our Roman Catholic Church does not follow the teachings of Christ and the Apostles … Together with the Holy Bible … that compiled.
So if you are not exposed to these teachings of a teacher worthy of the Church can not have the answers to questions that our Protestant friends ask. Some Catholics neglect the essential training that is … Only in the Catholic faith.
Kinda "Ironic do not you think!
(((René O))) said: She trusted, but not a god.
Trustee of the Catholic Pope, Cardnials, Bishops, Priests and Nuns. I do not deny teachers. The teachers of the sound doctrine of the Church. They have a God-given gift for teaching. And guess what … They all trust God just like we do.
My teachers: Hold a university degree. Some more of one. They have been trained in Christian theology. The Church has over 2000 years of history. Try to learn everything. Greek / Hebrew History and Latin.
Try to live the example, the feeding of the herd, clothing the poor, caring for the sick and widows.
Believe me, my friend is a "work of faith" that God finds pleasing.
It is not that what you really want? Please God? Is not everything we do "assume" that rises to God?
Our best bet is to ours. Try to prepare for the "real world" we live in.. Leave it be "better prepared when they encounter anti-Catholic.
Let us try to understand how lucky we are to have our Holy Tradition. Protestants actually lose a lot like Bella Sacrements Christ taught us. Have lost much of what Jesus gave us.
God bless.
being married and living with him. their faith is based simply on being baptized and going to church occasionally. that is not Christian and not a store not knowing Jesus, or want to read the Bible.
Personal experience. Raised as an Anglican (but not Christian). My best friend was not a Roman Catholic and a Christian, either, but did not know that then because I did not even know that I was not one.
I saved the 19 years and began studying the Bible. The more I studied it's far from the Anglican church, which in many cases, does not operate scripturally.
The more I learned the word of God, I realized just how many more people there who call themselves Christians, but really did not know what they believed. They had simply gone to his church throughout his life outside the family tradition and custom.
I began to think of my friend and other Catholics who had come to know through work and other parts of my life. I could see how they lost their religion. Do not read your Bible, allow their priests to tell them what it says and what it meant and never questioned anything that says because we do not know how many falsehoods have been taught to them.
Last week I met a Roman Catholic, he told me he had started going to a "Christian" church. I asked him where he is usually surprised and said that when she was a Roman Catholic. I asked him what he did decide to try another church. His response was that she realized that her church had been lying with her for many years and she had only discovered through an acquaintance to tell some truths.
This was a Roman Catholic, almost 50 years of age, raised in the church every year, which he described as his own Roman Catholic church, but the new church was to "treat" as a Christian church. It was certainly beginning to see the difference.
This lady helped me with and pray for her and really hope that soon I will see her again and she tells me that now knows their Savior Jesus in a truly personal way.
Tattoomom, thanks for asking. My real answer to your question was my first two words - personal experience. He went on to explain those experiences, as he had asked why the belief that we had on the Roman Catholics.
I do not know why there are so many thumbs down when all they have done is a question honestly, however, the emotion that I feel that shows that many have read my long reply and I hope that gave you food for thought and others.
No, I'm having to start a Roman Catholic, but I say that many things are wrong simply because much of what they do and I think it is not biblical. However, it is because of false doctrines that are wrong, not something that they, as individuals have done. God accountable to people in order to mislead many.
