Pedophilia in the Catholic Church? Only Irish priests?

I was reading the Wikipedia article on abuse of Catholic children and I could not help noticing that almost all the names of the priests / bishops were .. Irish, but not necessarily in Ireland. No statistics have been collected? Could the massive poverty in Ireland and the large size of the family in one room huts being convicted pedophile sparks?

We do not live in a home environment, we live in normal houses. Ireland is a rather poor country. I'm not sure why the majority of Irish priests, perhaps they are the ones who know about, Ireland also has a large number of Catholic priests, while others do not.

Large families because pedophilia? NO! And there were virtually no cases of pedophilia involving priests. The media like to use that term for its emotional impact, but in reality almost all the cases involved adolescent boys and men who are sexually attracted to adolescent boys are not pedophiles. They are just gay. And the incidence of these offenses among priests is the same as between any other large group of men can name, including the male population in general, and slightly below the rate per capita among the Protestant clergy. The only difference in the cases of Catholic priests is the inordinate amount of press.

No, not limited to whether the Irish heritage. Unfortunately, it is widespread throughout the church. ONE is too much.

probability of an Irish Catholic priest who is taller than the rest … that's all
