Because its the Vatican.
Because, unlike the wonderful spiritual and reflective image that so many Catholic apologists, PR agents and spin doctors are trying to present the Catholic Church based on their track history of over 16 + centuries is far from enlightened or moral.

No organization that is truly open and honest would have to censor dissent. No organization that is truly spiritual, it is deemed necessary to conceal, mislead and suppress the crimes of tens of thousands of offenders who are pedophiles.
Any organization that wants to be in the world and preach about the values have no credibility if at the same time, denies justice to those who have sufferred as a direct result of the inaction of the church.
There are no other words for that-bad. Pure evil. Pray to Jesus that he might deliver us from this evil.

Well, I think that the RAI does not want to air the program Mediaset.
In Rome, the Catholic Church is very important, because not done in Malta, but it should not control public broadcasting. Ruled in 1900 that essentially all Catholic countries, but times have changed.

Religion always interfere … no matter the place … television, politics …. and so on …
It is your job to make sure that all the world's rules of life (God) and nothing will ever stop …
They have a program to stop the world in their songs ….
