NOW hypocrisy, to deny an apology, when the former Pope Paul apologized for the actions of the Church during the Holocaust .. who to tell who is sincere and an honest judge others?

    The words of Jesus:
"Then he spoke to them an example:" A blind man can not guide a blind man, can you? Both will tumble into a hole, is not? "
Why, then, do you look at the straw that is in thy brother's eye but fail to see the beam that is in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, allow me to extract the straw that is in the eye ", while you are not looking at the beam in the eye of that yours? Hypocrite! First extract the beam from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to extract the straw that is in thy brother's eye.
      They will keep pointing fingers!

The Pope remained silent during the Holocaust? UUUUHHHH, which is terribly wrong. Pope Pius XII really a lot. Thousands of Jews are alive today because the Pope hid Jews in every cathedral, church, monastery and convent in Rome. The chief rabbi of Rome during the time he converted to Catholicism after the war and took the name of the Pope as his baptismal name in appreciation for their efforts. Each source before the 1960s, Pope Pius XII praised for his service to the Jewish people. Finally, the books were written that were critical of Pius XII, but each has been criticized by historians as the left or manipulated evidence.
If you do not believe me, look at this video: http://www.barhama.com/PAVETHEWAY/5.html
I find it ironic that he was ruining the bishop, because it denies the Holocaust and ignores the evidence. However, you are denied the same Pope Pius role in helping Jews, in spite of much evidence.
      ADDITION
Drinking kool aid? What in God's name does that mean? Where do people come from?
Look, just an ignorant bigot hasinterest that niether in learning the truth and educating yourself. Actually, that's their problem. However, although long, the video shows me overwhelming evidence suggests that his statements are totally wrong.
As for neutrality, yes, the Vatican officially was neutral. However, according to British archives, the Vatican reported German troops to the British chain of command. Moreover, the Vatican messages carried England on behalf conspiritors German who wanted to overthrow Hitler. In fact, the Vatican betreyed systematically its position of neutrality. We simply do not know what you're talking about.
Ohh, and by the way, I study history. In fact I am working at the university for a doctorate in medieval studies. I will admit, I try to avoid the modern history of fast folding because idiots like you.

Beyond the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, there is no salvation.
The Second World War never ended. Those who are spiritually blind can not see that punishment is now the vacancy of the Apostolic See of Rome.
Hoy, al igual que en los días de Noé, antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en casamiento.
Why argue over fruitless disputes and the abandonment of the eternal salvation of his soul? Where are the dead of the past? Do you think they are in heaven or hell? If not, either in place then why bother to think about it at all? Remember this: an hour which could have prevented an eternity will not be able to correct. This is the thought of all those in hell.
St. Paul, and spoke of the heavens: the sufferings of this world are little compared with the glory that awaits those who die in the Lord.

    How is it hypocrisy?
If the Pope apologized, but the bishop insisted that those who deny the Holocaust, how is the Pope rejected the bishops attempt to make amends hypocritical?
The current Pope was head of the Church during the Second World War, and by his own admission has admitted that the Church was wrong. By Bishop reprimand for his comments, the Pope was in line with the Church's position on the guilt.

  5. eric k says:

Let me get this straight. You are angry because the Pope is against Holocaust denial?
That is one of the most asinine things I've ever heard. His argument is that because the Roman Catholic Church is not high enough to offer a protest against the Nazis 70 years ago, the current Pope is wrong to oppose the Holocaust deniers. Have you been sniffing glue or something?

  6. moondogg says:

His apology did not retract anything that relates to the Holocaust, and only apologized for hurting the sentiments of people by invoking it. Basically, whether the fool believes that there was no gas chambers, or just trying to motivate their followers against semetic follow.

  7. Morey000 says:

No matter what the man said, why take offense, that is clearly racist. Why do you care what a man says what did or did not happen in the 1940s. My only reaction is to laugh at the comments. You can not change a person views on history or religion or anything else, if your account is set up. He could apologize to a cow jumping over the moon, it would not change the reality.

Nobody can read minds, others .. Until you can, no one has a right to judge others with the excuse of sin cast the first stone .. All men are mortal, and subject to error if the action .. speak louder than words .. You know, if it is found that this man is, then the punishment can be applied once more .. Answer me this, how can a pedophile priest apologized for his sins, when you can not give their victims of their childhood and innocence .. And the Church to modify its declaration of neutrality in World War II? J "

  10. J" says:

I accept the apology to the extent that it's sincere. But no apology should be directed to me or to the Roman Catholic Church, but to God and the victims of the Holocaust.
      Until Christ Returns
      God bless

How is that hypocrisy? The Vatican and apologized to people who are now in the Vatican were not there during the Holocaust. Is blame modern Germans for what their ancestors?

  12. 'Kilo says:

Paul does not deny the fact of history in his apology, this wild idea does not recognize that you did something wrong to be vocal about it from others.

  13. Benji says:

You are wrong, and this has been known for some time.
So I do not think that the Holocaust took place? Care to make a small attempt to "prove" that?

  15. Marysia says:

Apparently you do not know their history.
Now, take your Prozac and go to bed.

  16. Margaret L says:

It is a little more complicated than that. Particular, the bishop referred to, has been working with a very spiteful and known Holocaust denier, David Irving. Therefore, his "apology" is meaningless.
      edit
Jews did not kill Jesus - as two popes have publicly acknowledged. He was killed by the Romans, after being charged with sedition, a crime against Rome. He was killed by crucifixion, a Roman purely a method prohibited in Judaism from the beginning.

  17. PaperbackWriter KosherNinja JPA says:

During World War 2, Pope Pius XII ordered directly convents, monasteries and Catholic churches to hide Jews from the Gestapo.
Here is a link to the story about the Jewish community online http://www.thejc.com/articles/wartime-po
EDIT: Some Jewish historians like the late Pinchas Lapid, have estimated that the Catholic Church under Pius saved between 700,000 and 850,000 Jews from the Nazis.

  18. smegmaki says:

Wait, that seem to have misunderstood. Paul apologized for the shortcomings of the Church during the Holocaust. That is a totally different thing this fool of an ex-bishop "apologizing" if anyone is upset with his statement that only 300,000 Jews died during the Holocaust, and none of them in gas chambers. He was not willing to apologize for the false claims. I mean, thank God the Pope did not accept this call proper apology. It is not, by any standard whatsoever.
EDIT: "The Vatican to pacify the Jewish leaders, proclaimed the Jews did not crucify Christ wantingly! Figure that one! Their anyway the wind blows today! "So you think the Vatican should continue to support the anti absurd claim that the Jews (as opposed to the Romans) crucified Jesus. Well, well. How do YOU hit on anti-Semitism, I'm beginning to wonder?

  19. Ambivalent Bonxie says:

It is not hypocrisy, but the Vatican is clearly ready to launch a simple bishop under the bus, if you endanger your image (as is).

  20. Logic316 says:

I hope that the Vatican is burning!
