Were the breasts of Holy Mary?

"And it came, as He spoke these things, that a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said," Blessed is the womb that Bory You and the breasts that nuresed You! "But he said:" More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it! "
  Luke 11:27-28
Therefore, if Jesus gently rebuked the woman for much of Mary … Why Catholics do not hear this rebuke of Jesus Christ?
When the crowd made a lot of Paul and Barnabas, look what they did:
"But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, ripped their clothes and rushed into the crowd, shouting:" Man, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. "
  -Acts 14:14-15
Mary - Blessed in his gentleness - would act in similar fashion, each time drawing away from her and her blessed Savior, Jesus Christ!
Therefore, Catholics - how do you respond?
  As the crowd?
"Even with these words, it was difficult to keep the crowd from sacrificing to them" (Acts 14:18)

Sorry my friend but this is really poor logic. Even just reading the verses that is always easy to see that Jesus was not in disagreement with the woman. It was like I was saying yes, okay, but it's even better.
Your problem is one of the most common-Catholic rhetoric (not to say that they are necessarily anti-Catholic ti). It is supposed to put over in May, or even on the same level as Jesus. This has never been, nor ever will be the case.
In the Catholic faith that Mary is someone always points to Jesus. Therefore, your statement about what Jesus actually says is correct.
To answer your question, we consider the "reprimand." We do not put Mary above Jesus.

  2. Edge says:

Good question. I really think when they get to heaven Catholics will be surprised to learn of Mary is only a Christian. She has no place in heaven.

  3. Nell says:

You are so right to ask this question. In the Catholic Church, Mary has been elevated to almost a state of an idol. The Bible tells us there is one mediator between God and man, and that is Jesus Christ. We are not praying to anyone else. I am not quite sure how to ignore the fact that the verse again. Mary was a blessed woman indeed, but only that. a woman. a human being. like any other person.

I am a Christian and just wanted to say I love your question! Catholics believe things that are not faithful to the Holy Bible, and in fact have another Bible to read.
This is a false worship of God, Mary is not God, not you to heaven only through Christ is eternal life. So its like a cult idol. We hope to pull what they are reading, and turn the truth of the Holy Bible and read, understand, and Jesus is God and only one, and he has to say too much, and not Mary, not go to a priest and ask for forgivness save you from your sins, only Jesus can!

Thanks for pointing this Scripture. You did not get many responses, but Catholic.
Mary recognized that it needed the Savior. The Bible says that Mary was never anyone but a simple human that God chose to use in an extraordinary way. Yes, Mary was a righteous woman and in favor of (grace) of God (Luke 1:27-28). At the same time, Mary was a sinful man who needs Jesus Christ as their Savior, like all the others (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23, 6:23, 1 John 1:8).

Mary is a lawyer at the Catholic church, Mary pray for us at the hour of our death, I see nothing wrong with that. asked Jesus for more wine at the wedding, which meet

  7. hamburgl says:

We do not put Mary above Jesus. She is not God. Yet God chose her to be the mother of Christ. I think that deserves some respect.
      The first verse:
This should not be interpreted as a rebuke of the mother of Jesus, but rather emphasizes that attention to the word of God is more important than the biological relationship of Jesus. Mary is important because it is the mother of Christ. But what is truly amazing is their devotion to God. She conceived of the Holy Spirit is ever virgin. She was born without original sin. Mary is the perfect example of purity, not once have sinned.
      The second verse:
This does not apply, since not worship Mary. She is not an idol. We cherish it and want to have a spiritual life like hers.
      "Ecce Ancilla Domini!"
-Behold the handmaid of the Lord!

  8. Dan Dempsey says:

    Holy tits!
      Sorry, I just had to.
