What did Jesus first appear to Mary after his resurrection from the dead?

The Catholic tradition says that Jesus appeared to his mother Mary, but first the Gospel of Mark (which is written cree at a later date) states that Mary Magdalene was apparently. This is for a graduate school religion teacher allocation in my Catholic school. Please reply soon!

    My dear, I'm not Catholic, but if you are a Catholic then transfer your best option would be to give a Catholic response. You are always sure to Mother Mary in the Catholic Church.

    I think the two Marys were Mary Magdalene and Mary the sister of Martha.
      Was Mary, the mother of Jesus, I do not believe that the Scriptures call the other Mary.

    Just write that - the traditional Catholic and why if you know them, and then declare that Mark said something different, their references and a quote wallah assignment concientious.
      There is no such thing as a wrong answer to the evidence.
