What do you think of the Vatican Add new "sins" ..?

I really find it a load of bull, the whole regime and the Catholic Vatican. What do you think of the news "sins" in view of God is the only one who has the authority to say what is a sin and what is not? I am sure that these new "sins" are in the Bible .. that are not part of the ten commandments.

Well if you're going to maintain a "list of sins," then you might as well review from time to time. Is the updating of the minimum wage to keep pace with inflation.
But really - why do you bother? If you are not Catholic, then what is the consequence to your life?

It only means of communication like this that can get people out of control. But do not take my word for it ….
      God bless.

  3. compendi says:

I agree that God is the only one who can tell what a sin and what is not.
I do not know why the Vatican to announce that it has added new modern sins to the list.
I shook his head when I heard the news and let it go.
I am a Christian as you want to Christianity from the Bible and not man.

Hey You do not create more commandments was not part of the ten, was it? So why not … probably was' inspired '…

  6. actormyk says:

Could it be that the Vatican is adding new sins, but the man is the addition of new sins, the Vatican is nothing more than move to the documentation of them? Whenever the seven deadly sins came up, I'm sure you do not have the means to that sin that we do today - hypodermic needles, internet porn, vehicular homicide - and perhaps it is time for someone to say that it is sin . Why? Do they have affected a little too close to home for a couple of you have added?

Many philosophers have said that God is going to die when religion becomes insufficient, unnecessary, unwarranted and disconnected from our everyday reality of modern society and progress of science and technology.
I respect all religions and I think they all have a "kernel of truth." I believe that all religions are the human search for answers to everyday questions.
I admire the Catholic Church to keep in touch with the reality of our complex history of human existence and the effort to provide some answers and guidance.
For a good read of how God has evolved over the millennia that Recommen the book "The History of God by Karen Armstrong.
      Edit:
It would be impossible for these "new sins" that are listed in the Bible. I must add that, when 'God' is defined'7 deadly sins', as some of you call it, humanity is not nuclear or toxic waste dumping in the ocean, humanity polluting the rivers, lakes and streams with products chemical carcinogens and drugs, mankind had not developed nuclear weapons capable of erasing the entire continent and the destruction of life, humankind was unable to drop the spacecraft on the surface of the moon, humanity was not setting up of cloned animals in laboratories, in fact, if humanity can 'God' to 'update' the list of deadly sins, "He will undoubtedly speak of all these actions are against the welfare and even survival of 'God' creation. I am not Catholic but I do not think this is ridiculous or absurd. Perhaps by chance "God still speaks to humans through the sickly Catholic Church. I appreciate the opportunity to agree with you.

And Jesus said to Peter (the first Pope) "here are the keys to the kingdom of heaven. What laws every time you perform on earth shall be bound in heaven and what each time you change the laws were changed in the sky. "That is the Bible. Take it or leave it and stop telling the Pope to put an end to what Jesus told him to do.

  12. CorruptedSpirit,VT, AM Associate says:

trying to make a big deal about it in an attempt to "modernize" the outdated concept of Catholicism

  13. ???L J??u?,T?? C??o??c ?????? says:

    I think that is nonsense.
Who are they to think they are holy enough to add new sins, and think people listen to them?

  14. cynical says:

Follow the 7 sins, right? To be officially included as sins in the 6th century by Pope Gregory. They look at the verses in the Bible and then determine what is right and not. The Church has decided that drugs, excessive money and genetic manipulation (selection of embryos or IVF) is incorrect. What is so wrong with that? They simply make it public. What a little anti-Catholic lies.

  15. Nellie says:

The man has always been corrupting the word of God. No wonder that follows, and that people accept.
With regard to these proposals "sins," God and I had a discussion over a meal Pommelos while my Labradoodle bounded around me on this. Benedict says should have stuck to the breakfast.

  16. Gardener for God(dmd) says:

I had not heard that statement, but if that is what the Vatican is calling once again to try to play God.
Why the seven deadly sins are to be updated?

  17. She It I do says:

Maintains Catholics watch what they are doing more diligent
And make reconciliation a little more time in the confessional

  18. kriosaly says:

My understanding of the reading of Article I is not saying anything new. Are simply summed up some things because the Bible condemns (in addition to genetic manipulation … I do not think they can really justify that one) and putting in a brief, concise list. I have no problem with that at all. It's like any other preacher saying, "Hey! The Bible says not to do _____. What part you do not understand? "
Almost every preacher does this. I do not see what the scandal is that the Catholic Church does, too. Point where no one * * it does, is to emphasize that the activity is a sin and it is necessary to stop.
A bit like a mother of a child annoying, actually. She will not recite the law or sit back and philosophize with his three years of age. "Do not do that!" makes it clear enough.

  19. Joe R says:

its just a load of rubbish, and its stupid that they can not even follow their own traditions and have to keep changing every few years to get a few extra "sinners" to join their religion

  20. monky_bi says:

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide the Holy Catholic Church to all truth and promised to never leave us. Then through the centuries, God has revealed many truths to us in time. For example, some went to the church to determine which books are inspired and should be canonized in the Bible, etc. So, why should it surprise that the Holy Spirit guides the Church to discern what is sin in an age that brings new forms of sin?

  21. James B says:

Hyprocracy impressive. He can afford to pay $ 600 million in child abuse last year and the settlements that have the cheek to criticize others for excess wealth. Why Catholics are in denial about their clergy?

  22. Iceman 1963 says:

There are many "sins" the Vatican could not list them all, if launched from now until Christ returns ….
but seeing as how to commit a single sin is enough to separate us from God and all have sinned, and the height of the glory of God … Christ is repentance and forgiveness that we should … No lists, lol!

  23. ? says:

I hadnt heard anything about this, but I agree with you, your bull!

  24. James O says:

The 'new' sins have been sins, but they need more than to emphasize, especially to those who "experiment" with humans or kill thembefore birth or when people are in need of palliative care rather than killed.

  25. motorman says:
