Baptism is seen as a Catholic baptism and confirmation later in the child's life is basically in agreement with the child baptism. The Protestant is the dedication of parents saying that the intention of raising the child in a Christian way, so that he / she will decide on its own to get baptized. In the Protestant faith who are not officially named until it makes its own decision to do so.

I am neither Catholic nor Protestant. With regard to baptism, we do not do this ritual. I mean, we have a baptism, but only for those who have studied the Bible, have understood the meaning or significance of baptism and are committed to doing God's work. We do not baptize our babies. BTW, I am a Jehovah's Witness.

I am a former Protestant, and now a practicing Catholic baptism service is the same, Protestantism is only another kind of Christianity very little different from the Catholic
