Allowing priests to marry is theologically compatible with Catholicism. Catholic priests were usually married to the Middle Ages. Then, due to abuse and nepotism, the Church turned to celibacy. Today there are actually very few married Catholic priests. This can occur when a married man is an Anglican priest, or the Orthodox rite, but then converted to Catholicism. In this case, he may be allowed to continue as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church despite being married. As you can imagine, this is rare, however.
Some people claim that allowing priests to marry would reduce peodophilial behavior. I would say that peodophilia is a psychological illness, not something that is fixed to allow priests to marry. Others say that a celibate man does not have to give advice to married couples. This argument seems specious; a psychologist does not have to have attempted suicide in order to help someone who has. Priests through long and extensive training to enable them to help all patrons with their marital problems and other problems.
I like to have celibate priests in that enables them to devote themselves to their ministry. The apostles may have been married, but probably were not able to be very good husbands because of his travels and his work. However, if the Church allows priests to marry again, I would have no serious objections.

Catholics do not allow their priests to marry.
There are other Catholic churches. In general, differ only slightly from the Roman Church.

The only priests who are married are married before they converted to Catholicism, usually from Anglicanism. If it were Anglican priests, the Catholic Church gives a brief refresher course on the differences between the two and then sent to a parish.

There are a few Orthodox churches to be reconciled with Rome after the schism, and known as Eastern Rite Catholics. Note that these are Catholic, not Orthodox churches.
During the schism, the priests were allowed to marry, as in the Orthodox Churches. After the reconciliation with Rome, the tradition of married priests was allowed to continue.

It is an unnecessary inconsistency which confuses everyone and makes laughable Rome, in my opinion.
Would not it be prudent to allow all priests to marry? Yes
