Santos + + We share the view of Catholics in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, Episcopal and Methodist Churches. The Communion of Saints is the belief that all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When it dies and goes to heaven, do not let this family. Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints, you, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary, the mother of Jesus, Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II. As part of this family, you can ask your family and friends living here on earth to pray for you. Or, you can also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Andrew, or your deceased grandmother living in heaven to pray for you. Prayer to the saints in heaven is simple communication, not worship. Ask others to pray for you if your loved ones on Earth or your loved ones in heaven is always optional. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 946 et seq: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1s ... + + The Blessed Virgin Mary "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee" (Luke 1:28) "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb "(Luke 1:42). The Hail Mary prayer simply recites passages from the Bible (the Word of God) and asks Mary to pray for us: Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you. (These are the words that the angel Gabriel said to Mary, a Bible quote.) Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. (This is Mary's cousin Elizabeth's greeting, another biblical quotation.) Santa Maria, (The angel Gabriel said he was full of grace and Elizabeth says he was blessed.) Mother of God (the Bible says that Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God) Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. (A simple request to pray for us.) Amen. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 2673 et seq: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt4s ... In Luke 1:48, Mary prophesied, "From now on all generations will call me blessed." A question for Christians who take the Bible literally: Do you call Mary "blessed"? If not, why? + With love in Christ.

Do not ask her mother to pray for you? It was at the request of Mary that Christ performed his first miracle. A child is always attentive to the wishes of his mother. Pax et Bonum, Debra

We, as Catholics, praying to the Virgin Mary and the saints does not mean that they worship. In our faith, we can say that during the Mass, we say these words: "We believe in one God, Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth and all things visible and invisible. In that belief, we are told and believe strongly that there is only one God who is worthy of worship. The Church honors its saints, angels and the Virgin Mary because of their great faith and life to God. Not the cult of the Virgin Mary or the angels and saints, but pray for them for us sinners to be united with God. We pray to our Blessed Mother for help because she can intercede for his son and God. She is in heavenly glory. Veneration of saints and worship is God.

We asked to pray for her because the Bible teaches us that the prayers of a righteous person is of great benefit. Why not ask a Christian to the blessed mother of God pray for them. In Christ Fr Joseph Account, You have an interesting view that is not theologically sound. It is neither supported by the Sacred Tradition and Scripture, but simply a false Musicians man. But thanks for your opinion anyway, even if they have no authority or veracity.

because THERE ARE FIFTEEN PROMISES of the Blessed Virgin with the Christian faith to pray the Rosary 1 To all those who shall pray my Rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and a big thanks. 2 Those who persevere in the recitation of my Rosary shall receive some special grace. 3 The Rosary will be a very powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, deliver from sin and dispel heresy. 4 The Rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and get to the souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and lift them to the will of eternal things. Ah, to sanctify the souls of here. 5 Those who trust in themselves through the Rosary not perish. 6 Whoever recites my Rosary devoutly reflecting on the mysteries, is never overwhelmed by misfortune. He did not experience the wrath of God or to perish by an unprovided death. The sinner becomes simply the grace to persevere in the virtue and eternal life. 7 Those truly devoted to my Rosary will not die without the sacraments of the Church. 8 Those who are faithful to recite my Rosary shall have during their life and death in the light of God and the fullness of His grace and in the merits of the blessed. 9 I will deliver promptly from purgatory souls devoted to my Rosary. 10 True children of my Rosary shall enjoy great glory in heaven. 11 What you ask through my Rosary you shall obtain. 12 For those who propagate my Rosary I promise aid in all your needs. 13 I have obtained from my Son that all members of the Confraternity of the Rosary will intercessors, in life and death, all the heavenly court. 14 Those who recite my Rosary faithfully are my beloved children, brothers and sisters in Christ. 15 Devotion to my Rosary is a sign of predestination Every promise is true Peace
