Some church groups actually prevent Protestant theological education. No wonder there are so many heresies and false teachings of the Protestant groups.   I was a Protestant minister (Moravia) and has a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the mainline Protestant seminaries. All Catholic priests are the equivalent of a master's or doctoral degree, which takes at least 5 years.   In Christ   Fr Joseph Many Protestant pastors have little or no theological education. Some church groups actually prevent Protestant theological education. No wonder there are so many heresies and false teachings of the Protestant groups.
