Because the Bible is not to be used to explain them. First, the Church came before the Bible. The Bible was written for the Church, the Church. The Church does not teach, because the Bible is the Bible because the Church has always taught the same. The New Testament is a series of letters all written to the newly formed Christian Churches, to address the issues that were addressed. It is the infallible word of God, but is the foundation of faith. In fact, the Bible says that the "pillar and foundation of truth is the Church" not writing. Our prayers are with Mary in intercessory prayer, which the Bible does not speak. He says it is pleasing to God that we ask others to pray for us, and we pray for others. Mary and the Saints are Christians who ask you to pray for us. We see that the fact that they no longer have earthly bodies as a barrier to being one with us in Christ. In fact, St. Paul says that nothing can separate us from Christ, even death. Therefore, even though they no longer live in bodies of flesh here on earth, are still with us one in Christ and, therefore, pray for us. The devotion known as the Rosary is simply a series of biblical prayers along with meditations on the life of Christ. It is not necessary for someone to pray the rosary, or included in our Mass or worship. It's just a devotion. Just because the Bible does not talk about altar calls biblical studies or tent revivals, does not mean that these things are not valid forms of worship and fellowship. The use of statues going way back. When most people could not read, only heard the biblical stories in the mass Statues were used to help the biblical characters to life. As people hear about Moses from the Red Sea, or taking his family to Nazareth of Joseph, Mary, or that God is your servant, nor crucified Jesus on the cross for our sins, these statues were basically visual. We use our 5 senses to help us learn and retain information. How many times have you heard "I'm very visual, or am in the hands of a student?" The statues were used to help people understand and remember stories of the Bible and the important people of faith that he will of God. Writing is a part of our faith, but it is not the basis of our faith, Christ is. Jesus told his Apostles to go and preach "He never told anyone to sit and write. The Bible is the Word of God, for sure, but there is much writing ... do not know because the Bible says so. Added: Avalon - 2 Tim. 1:13, 1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Tim. 4:2,6-7; Titus 1:3 - and many, many more. Jesus never told anyone to write a book, or anything he said. http://www.scripturecatholic.com/oral_tr ...

There are tons of verses .. the Catholic Church can show tons of support in the Bible for their beliefs and teachings .. Do not forget that the compiler decided dang thing .. what happened to it, after all. They were not fools, no things to refute them, if interpreted correctly. - What is the warning. Here the fundamental question that concerned .. SI demonstrated that the test ... actual test? Think about it .. you have to agree with my interpretation of the Scriptures to see the evidence ... Huh? So how open are you to see things not from a Protestant, anti-Catholic bent, but the search for answers to a student mentality? Cause, maybe ... perhaps the only evidence of what the Catholic church is wrong in scripture, but because non-Catholics do not believe that the Catholic Church has no authority, generally do not believe her, especially if they demonstrate that the Catholic doctrine . Its just like this ... If you do not believe in UFOs and aliens ... What is the opportunity that is going to accept anything as evidence that authority? I know I do not believe in UFOs or aliens .. but I see these programs on the History and Discovery Channel at least once a month, and all the time, I am mentally terrying their "alleged" evidence and laughter wack conspiracy theorists who think the government is covering everything. SO .. I am to be presented with any evidence, but refuse to see it as proof .. mainly because they do not believe in aliens. I will say this .. the Catholic Church established the Canon of the Bible, which decided to include in it. Ironically, about 1200 years later, he was fighting the Protestant Reformation that changed the Catholic Bible .. actually removed 7 books of the Old Testament. This is ironic, because at least 1 of the books, Macabe gave evidence of Catholic belief in Purgatory ... and again, ironically, when Protestants say purgatory is unbiblical, because it eliminates the evidence. Point to their bibles and Catholics say, "is here" - and Protestants say "HA, even using the TRUE bible, like us" - forgetting that they are the ones that changed in 1600. It is therefore ironic that when they say things are unbiblical in at least 1 area, which really made the way to accommodate them. Finally, we need to differentiate from extra-biblical and unbiblical. They are 2 different things. - The majority of Protestants have lost this distinction throughout the 1800s. Fortunately prayer to Mary and the intercession of the saints is not unbiblical or extra-biblical, but very biblical. _____________________________________ But to answer your question ... Catholics do not pray to Mary, but to ask for his intercession. Same with the saints and statues. Jesus is the only mediator, but ... Does it mean that others can not intercede on our behalf? Do you beg, please help? Does the Bible verses that say he is the only mediator that he alone ... anotherwards .. Does that mean someone can not pray with him on my behalf? Not to increase our dependence on Jesus? 2 people because we believe in him .. asking for help? Therefore, no intercession Expanding our relationship with Jesus? Protestants who argue that its role as mediator dillutes ONLY .. Catholics simply do not believe it. A business owner is the only entrepreneur who has sole ownership and responsibility for the continued operation and profitability of the company? RIGHT? Not to hire an accountant to pay the bills, a receptionist to answer phones, etc dillute its role? The delegation of responsibilities in any way make it less of an owner? So why can not someone so powerful and frightening others as Jesus coming to him for help, without dilution of its role? Http: / / www.catholic.com / library / Interc ... Statues are a form of religious art. Modern culture and especially the Protestant (non-Catholic Christians) have lost this distinction. For them, everything that does not represent God or Jesus is "idoltry" - but ignore the thousands of years of religious art. Non-Catholics to Pray .. Statues Statues use as a focal point, something to focus and center with us. We use them as reminders of the saints .. People who were told to emulate the apostles. We worship of Mary, the saints and statues, some as much as a boy of 13 years loves the poster of your favorite sports hero. Many things that differentiate Catholics and Protestants and fundamentalists simply do not. So this makes a division between them. If I say A and B are different, but blieve A and B are the same ... How can we actually have a discussion about A or B? Something to say about A, which applies to B and vice versa. The distinction between praying to something or someone for help and intercession and prayer to them as a god. I'm talking about the distinction between Lateria and Dulia (cultured vs reverence) In one case, the Protestants in fact make a distinction that Catholics do not. You see the Protestants believe in the intercession, but only 2 people on Earth.
Protestants believe that the ultimate authority in religious practice is the Bible. Roman Catholics believe that the ultimate authority in religious practice is the Pope. It is difficult for the Protestant Bible-obsessed American to understand, but the pope is allowed to add to, interpret, or even the Bible. This difference of opinion, of course, caused hundreds of years of war and millions of deaths in Europe.
Because the Bible does not command us to do any of those things. The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits that the early Christians prayed to God, not saints when he says: "In general, the N [ew] T [establishment], prayer to everyone, both private and public liturgical prayer, is addressed to God the Father through Christ. "It also states:" The sentence should be an expression of friendship with God. "Volume XI, pp. 670, 673. Have "friendship with God" eliminates the need to have someone speak for you, even if that were possible. Christians do not have to go through "holy" because they are afraid to deal directly with God. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, revealed that no such need intercessors with God, because we "freeness of speech" to deal with him through Jesus. Paul advised: "Therefore, focusing freeness of speech to the throne of goodness prejudices, to obtain mercy and kindness to help find bias at the right time." (Hebrews 4:14-16) To address the rosary: See you in the Holy Scriptures and is no reference to those who need a rosary or similar means of counting prayers memorized. In fact, the Bible does not suggest that prayer is the same to be repeated again and again. It is true that the Scriptures call Christians to "persevere in prayer." (Rom. 12:12) But this does not mean repeating the same thing over and over again. Jesus said: "When praying, do not say the same things over and over again, like the people of the nations do, because guess who has a hearing on use of many words. So, you do not like them. "(Matthew 6:7, 8) If the store does not say the prayer over and over again, obviously it would be necessary to account how many times they say.

Paul advised: "Therefore, focusing freeness of speech to the throne of goodness prejudices, to obtain mercy and kindness to help find bias at the right time." (Hebrews 4:14-16)
To address the rosary:
See you in the Holy Scriptures and is no reference to those who need a rosary or similar means of counting prayers memorized.
"(Matthew 6:7, If the store does not say the prayer over and over again, obviously it would be necessary to account how many times they say.

These go against the Bible - Exodus 20:4-5. Some other things that are not in the Bible are: the purgatory, limbo, original sin, and the descent of Jesus to death in an inferno doctrines. all spread between the 3-4 century - long after the apostles died. can demonstrate that the thumbs down are in the Bible?
