Why Preach When Born Christians never mention Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary?

I was born Catholic, I was told to pray to Mother Mary and pray the rosary. I believe the children of Fatima and told Mother Maria Lucia to have the world to pray for his help in world peace. I guess I feel now a reborn Christian. As much as I respect the church, some of the rules are kind of outdated for the times. Of course this is my opinion, I am not trying to convert anyone, but if anyone out there that a Christian is reborn, can you help me with this question? DR hear. CHARLES STANLEY, Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyers. Get a better understanding of the Bible, when I listen to them and I feel more motivated to continue in a Christian life. But I never heard them speak of the Virgin Mary. I am really surprised that Joyce Meyers did not talk about subject. She seems to be a feminist. Can someone help me here? thanks in advance, or border boordrline@verizon.net

When not in the Bible does command us to pray to Mother Mary. She is not a god, just a holy vessel used by God for his obedience to the law of command to stay pure until marriage, nothing more. The Bible says that the only way you can be born again or saved is to accept Christ as your personal savior. And as a born-again Christian, you should try to convert others, trying to save the Hellfire is commanded by Christ. If you have further questions contact me at sbosleyjr@yahoo.com

    limit,
The Virgin Mary was an amazing woman and deserves great respect, but she is the mother of God. She is the mother of God in the sense that it was Jesus' earthly mother, but God is without beginning and without end - Jesus is God.
He was not born when he came into Mary's womb. Just as God established his power and took human form. It was still God, but He could not use his power as God because He has to experience life as a human being like us. As a born-again Christian, my gratitude is that Jesus died for me and free me. While I have great respect for Mary, she did not save me - Jesus did.
Many Christians are unwilling to express their appreciation for the contribution of Mary for the great emphasis placed on it by the Catholic Church. Purpose to avoid any semblance of an exaltation of Mary. Jesus instructed us to pray to the Father in his name. I am sure that Mary is sitting on a throne in the kingdom of heaven, but his connection with God was like a mother to the Savior of the world.
She was very mother of Jesus. I am sure she did everything for him that others do the mother. They do not usually think of Jesus as a baby and PEEING Pooping, but not all of these things and Mary cleaned him up as any mother. I'm sure she helped him learn to walk and dress himself, etc. Can you imagine listening to Mary to tell stories about Jesus to grow like other mothers say about their children? Mary was a great mother, and she was so blessed to be chosen by God for the honor.
Mary was a great woman and did great things, but I believe that Abraham did great things and great things that Moses and Joshua did great things and did great things and Deborah Esther did great things and great things did Samuel and David and Peter did great things Paul did great things and did great things and great things did Martin Luther and Martin Luther King did great things.
God chooses people to do their job. Mary were normal like other people that God chose. We can do great things, but we are just people. God gives us the desire and the power to do His will. Faith and obedience motivated by love are the keys to greatness in the Kingdom of God, and He chooses the people to achieve great things.
Mary is a great model, and will not hurt you to your very self, but that hurt if you put the same emphasis on Jesus and Mary. The greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. The best advice I can give you is to read and study the Bible for themselves. God is not threatened by their appreciation of Mary, and if you read his word and still feel the same way, then keep your belief.
Martin Luther was studying the Catholic religion, when he discovered that the teachings of the church were not entirely true on the basis of what he read in the Bible. Confronted with the mistakes he saw. If you read the Bible and see the errors in their beliefs and then change them. Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer do, too. Do not take the floor for anyone what to believe. Read the Bible for themselves.
The Catholics I have known seem to avoid reading the Bible. From the outside looking in, it seems that you can not approach God or understand God's word without the help of a priest. In 1 Peter 2:9, the Bible says, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, who may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Catholics are correct about the intercession of the priests, but all are intended to be priests - including you and me.
It is leading to the heavenly intercession and spiritual, that is where it is needed in the real world. That Jesus did when He preached and healed people and loved people and cast out demons. All Christians are meant to do those things. Jesus was our example.
Adam was the first man and brought sin and sorrow to our human nature. God can not undo what Adam did, but sent Jesus as our Savior, so that by the Spirit in our new nature can overcome the old nature and become more like Jesus. He is our example. We intended to do what Jesus did. It is not arrogance. We are a royal priesthood.
I hope that helps. If you have any questions just drop me a line.
      God bless.

Ask your father when the Catholic Church venerates Mary his current position. If he is honest will tell you it was around 1850.

  5. drg5609 says:

because the Bible says that the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ. Where it is not read into a real cult BIBLE nothing encouraging in the prayer of Mary to nurse.
It is very easy to want to stay in mindthing of doctrine that have been raised up in. .. the problem, there is a way that seemeth right, but at the end is death.
If you have been totally content and believe in Catholic belief, then you do not know where it is today.

  6. sharon says:

The Catholic church is a serious perversion of the teachings of Christ, which is based on lies created by liars. Or continue to follow Christ. You can not do both.

  7. Donald Shaw says:

If you really believe the message of Fatima, a Catholic who would rather believe that the Church needs the update. The update took place in Vatican 2 and created a new religion. Stay out of the Vatican 2 church and go to the Latin Mass

  8. pax_tecu says:

Jesus said "ask the Father anything in my name and it will be done for you by my Father in heaven," Jesus taught us how to pray and He never mentioned praying to Mary.

  9. tobinmbs says:

Even Pedro, (Catholics say it is the head of the Church, and the first pope, second only to Christ) says:
      Fact 4:
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
      9 If this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by which means you do everything;
10 Be it known to you all, and all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him Is this man here before you whole.
11 This is the stone that was nothing of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Nor is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
Note verse 12. Peter Cleary said that the name of Jesus Christ is the only name of salvation. If Peter (whom they say is the first Catholic Pope) says that only the name of Christ brings salvation, (which may be physical or spiritual salvation of earthly problems) than any other had the authority to instruct another in prayer in the name ? Who gave the Pope no authority to teach prayer to Mary, the apostles or holy? Christ did not, and neither did Peter. So why are the spirit that was commissioned to Catholics? Not by the Spirit of Christ, indeed.
Moreover, neither feminism nor any other sect or political movement takes place in the Church.
      Ephesians 4:
      4 There is one body and one Spirit, even if ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, which is above all and through all and in all.
There is a "faith." His faith is not for men, a woman of faith, etc. .. No matter the audience, is just one of their faith. Women, including feminists, should follow the same faith and doctrine of Christ. No exceptions.

  10. man_id_u says:

why Catholics pray to Mary is because they think they are not good enogh to pray directly to God.this is not true because through the grace of our Lord Jesus, we can speak with confidence to God.

  11. Demon slayer says:

You must find your own answer in the Bible. There is no instruction in the Holy Bible to pray to Mary. Read the Gospel accounts of Jesus life and death itself. Then read the other books that were written by the disciples of Jesus and become what He taught us. Ultimately up to you to ask God to show you the answer to your questions, and if he is sincere in finding him.
Keep listening to Charles Stanley, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, as they are good teachers in the ways of Christ. But Jesus is the master and he said: "Search the Scriptures as they testify of me." Man (or woman) will always be fallible and make mistakes in assessing the right / wrong, sooner or later, but Jesus never lost.
