    Frankly, yes.
      Because according to my convictions, would resign his chance in the sky and sticking to the ground, in the best of the resurrection (there's nothing wrong with that, but it is only as good as one of the heavens). It's something about my religion, not about Catholicism.

    I do not really have a child, but if I did, and he decided to become a priest, I was ecstatic.

    Not at all. Most of the priests are very good Christians, contrary to what you read in the news. Besides that there could be some very good theological arguments.
