Are there Catholics who are offended when some Christians pretty much say that Mary had no one special?
As in its making, in essence, that for someone who just did their job to give birth to Jesus and that is the end of it?
- Why Catholics are so offended when someone accused of worshiping Mary?
- Some Catholics may Tell me why a place of worship of Mary Mother of Jesus?
- Why do Catholics pray to Mary and the saints for their help and other non-Christians?
- Do Christians think Catholics are no strangers When Christians pray to Mary and the saints and statues?
- Catholics are Christians and they also have salvation?

Yes yes I am offended. Mary is the mother of all.
a. God called Holy Mary, and he worships him.
b. GOD needs to her Divine Son.
c. Holy God chose Mary above all women.
d. Santa Maria gave birth to the divine "Word made flesh."
e. As a child, Jesus Christ obeyed the orders of his mother.
f. Jesus honors His mother.
g. Jesus Christ will defend his mother as any good son. Not to do special Holy Mary?
Can not make it worthy of our honor? We can do less than what God did to himself? Is there a man or woman has the right or authority to say no to honor St. Mary? Ask the person who tells you otherwise in writing to show where it says not to their honor. Jesus Christ is the only person in history who was able to choose their own mother. Why Mary? Because she is special, that's why …
No, not that kind of thinking offends me.
What does offend me, and specifically in general, is that the willful blindness and deliberate perjury that always comes with it: as often as you tell Mary to fight these people who ask you to pray for , not their religion, which persist to ask, again and again, why do Catholics worship Mary instead of God.
That is not to request information. The beating of Catholics in the form of a question. This kind of immature … not offend me, exactly. Just makes me sigh and concern for the future of the human race.
Well, in the eyes of the world that no one would be special. Tha ANAWIM was part of community or community of the poor or a remnant of the poor. When I would be offended by intolerance and ignorance displayed by others. If she says no then how could a man be God? This is extremely important to humanity only needs the redemption of humanity is reduced. Mary played an important role in the history of the salvation of becaiuse A eho she had to purchase our redemption. Unimportant, especially anyone say no.
What happened to the word "Protestant" That's what we're talking about. Protestants and Catholics - any number of groups which can be Christians. Not all Christians are Protestants.
That aside, I am Protestant (and Christian, two words are not synonyms), and many Protestants feel that pay too little attention to Mary. They say that some Catholics are going overboard in their honor, I say they go overboard in deliberately not honoring it. After all, an error in one direction does not justify an error in the opposite direction.
Remember, ladies, God could have chosen any woman at any time in history. So, actually, he chose Mary for all that we are experiencing now, as well as any other woman at any time in history. She is special, and we must remember that Almighty God chose out of all women in history (including us) to give his only begotten Son. She deserves to be honored, but not above their God. While keeping in perspective, it usually is, nothing is out of line.
Yo. "Christians" that degrade the Blessed Virgin Mary is making a mockery of God, are degrading and blaspheme your great work!
God thought Mary was special, for the first time in history, his angel greeted him with a title "HAIL, full of grace." She said, "all generations will call me blessed …."
It is unfortunate that many Christians do not accept because of the tremendous honor given to Mary by God himself!
It Maryallergy, dear. So that the only cure is learning what the Church teaches about Mary, and how only "magnifies the Lord" instead of taking anything away from what is due to Christ alone … and, of course, the desire to do so instead of maintaining cherished prejudices.
Inside, I am offended because being Mexican and Catholic in that …. Mary you know someone is to pray on a daily bases. She has appeared to many people throughout history. Like the story of Juan Diego in the desert of Mexico. I saw the fabric of the Virgin that the picture appears, it is lost or has not changed its appearance in 200 years it has existed. In my opinion, is a true miracle, but then again, I understand why Christians feel the way they do and only have to deal with it.
Mary was to elect someone special.God her. She was the mother of Jesus.
But the Bible also says that even knelt, bowed and called him Lord.
I like being the mother of Jesus, but I have Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Mary did not die on the cross for me, Christ did.
Blessings.
to "Christians" who say that Mary was like you and me, that's saying it was nothing special. I mean, if she is good enough for Jesus, then it good enough for you !!!!!!
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
Mary says in Luke 1:48, "… For behold, henceforth all generations' is' call me blessed. " Can you dispute the fact that the word 'shall' is a command, not a suggestion?
If you search the word "Blessed" in the dictionary, means' Holy ', held in "Veneration", "venerable." God is telling us is that Holy Mary, and she should be venerated and revered. Why any human attempts to refute the Word of God?
How can Mary be something special? She is dead and rotting in his grave! How do I know? Simple, there are only 4 of them are 4 people named in the Bible who went to heaven, never saw 2 death, 2 died! Enoch, Isaiah, and never saw death, and Moses and Jesus died! And when Jesus was resurrected many resurrected with him and went around and told others what had happened! Mary was alive when that happened, and only those who were resurrected with Christ went to heaven with him! No one else has Risen! LIVE OR GET TO HEAVEN! This co-redempterist baloney is a recent thing with the Catholics and is based on nothing more than a pope said so! There is no evidence! If you think you have proof, then the bust of your Bible and prove it!
I'm Catholic! was special and if you ask me, if you hadnt given birth to Jesus, who would? then we would have an even bigger mess then it already. she played an important role because it gave birth to Jesus and he almost gave us all a clean slate so id say that it is important. I also think its amazing it was still a virgin and had a baby, maybe some people are strange and wrong to think that, but it really didn't do anything wrong, was chosen to give birth to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. yes lack of respect to non-Catholics. I really liked the first answer by the way!
Im Christian and I say that Mary was special for all women to choose, she was chosen to give birth to our savior! So it had to be truly blessed!
But ……. Nowhere in the bible says to pray to his bow, and even the statues of reality …. the Bible forbids Catholics, but still do it because they think that their moral right …. So what is more important? What God says not to do or what is "morally right"?
As I said … She was a great woman and I thank God that it was a woman worthy enough to give birth to Jesus, but Im going with what the Bible says that all Christians and Catholics, or anyone passing through the Holy Bible should . . The Bible tells us what to do and what not to do what we do and Catholics with regard to Mary is what the Bible says do not
William R:
Enoch was taken bodily into heaven without dying. God becomes less of Mary the Ark of the New Partnership?
Elijah was taken up to heaven in chariot of fire. Jesus would not do less than His Blessed Mother.
Rev. 6:9, we see only the souls of the martyrs in heaven in Rev. 12:1 we see Mary, body and soul.
Paul teaches us that cling to the mouth (not just written) tradition. Apostolic tradition says Mary was assumed into heaven. While claiming the bones of the saints is a common practice these days (and have been especially important for the bones as Mary was the Mother of God), Mary bones were never claimed. This is because they were not available. Mary was taken body and soul into heaven.
Rev. 12:1 - Mary, "Woman," is crowned with twelve stars. She is Queen of heaven and earth and Mother of the Church.
She was being obedient, that's all. Go to other countries not as fortunate and have primary laws throughout the world and pray to her.Which is idolatry, Jesus could have chosen any other woman to serve.
Thats how I see them and that `s how it is, but when trying to convince Catholics to take their mindset that bothers me a lot, so the defense of the Blessed Virgin against such attacks as required.
Because she did not have to feed him, clothe him, love him, feed him, right? I assume that all mothers are good for these days - just given birth (rolls eyes).
I am not offended, I know what I think, and if other Christian organizations differ so it is their choice.
Yes, it is offensive to think that God would behave in that way. I will not go any further, because I'm going to be offensive.
Not only Catholics, but I imagine that Jesus was not as much as the people trashing her mother.
Mary was chosen by God as a good mother to her son she was not human but divine.
Yes! Mary was more than someone just doing their jobs! She is Mother of us all! Jesus said when he was on the Cross!
I'm not offended, but I'm surpised that these "Bible believing" to ignore the Christian Bible, where Mary is concerned.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, is important for Catholics because the Bible says it is important to God.
• Mary is the handmaid of the Lord (Luke 1:38), a servant of God like us.
• Mary is the first Christian. All others follow his path in the Christian faith. She is the model for us all because she cooperated actively with the Will of God saying "Yes" to God in the plan of salvation.
• Mary is a model of faith. Mary's faith never wavered throughout his life, even while watching him die on the cross, when most of the Apostles fled.
• Maria Full of Grace. The angel Gabriel called, "Full of Grace" and said: "The Lord is with you." She is full of grace at that time, the Lord is with her at that moment, before she says "yes" , the angel of the matter. Catholics believe that the state of grace was with her from her Immaculate Conception. God has prepared for his later role as the mother of Jesus.
• Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
• Mary is an abode of the Holy Spirit, a tabernacle. The angel Gabriel says, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you." (Luke 1:35)
• Mary praised God through His messenger, the angel Gabriel, "Rejoice, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you." If God and His angels praise Mary, we should not?
• Jesus María honored. Keep the commandments of Jesus and not sin. Jesus fulfilled the commandment to honor both his father and mother. WWJD? What Would Jesus? Jesus made the honor and Mary his mother.
• The Holy Spirit inspired praise of Mary. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit,
cried with a loud voice and said: "Most blessed art thou among women," and "Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord has been fulfilled." (Luke 1 :41-45)
• The Scriptures tell of Mary and Jesus. Mary gives birth to Jesus, he presents to the shepherds, the wise men, God in the Temple. She lived with him for many years in Nazareth, Jesus intercedes in Cana, suffers with him at the foot of the Cross, and he says to the apostles in the Cenacle.
• Mary was a prophet. "Behold, henceforth all ages call me blessed. The power of God, has done great things for me. "(Luke 1:48-49) As Christians we believe that the Bible, we should call Mary" blessed. "
• Mary is our Mother too. While on the cross, Jesus told his beloved disciple (which represents all Christians), "this is your mother." (John 19:27)
The Hail Mary prayer simply recites passages from the Bible (the Word of God) and asks Mary to pray for us:
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you. (These are the words that the angel Gabriel said to Mary, a Bible quote.)
Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. (This is Mary's cousin Elizabeth's greeting, another biblical quotation.)
Santa Maria, (The angel Gabriel said he was full of grace and Elizabeth says he was blessed.)
Mother of God (the Bible says that Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God)
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. (A simple request to pray for us.)
Amen.

With love in Christ.
Mary is described as the Ark, because it contained the eternal Word of God.
Mary, of course, not an ark of wood, but Jesus (the Word) was not stone or tablets.
If the word of God became incarnate, then his chest can also be beef.
The fullness of Christian truth comes from the oral and the written word of God. (2 Thess. 2:15).
This is the Holy Tradition of the Church.
The uniqueness of Mary as the Mother of God
Gen. 3:15 - we see from the very beginning that God gives Mary a unique role in salvation history. God says: "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, between your seed and her seed." This refers to Jesus (the "wedge") and Mary (the woman). The phrase "his seed" (spermatos) not seen in other parts of Scripture.
Gen 3:15 / Rev. 12:1 - the Scriptures begin and end with the woman fighting satan. This points to the power of the woman with the seed and teaches us that Jesus and Mary are the new Adam and the new Eve.
John 2:4, 19:26 - Jesus calls Mary "woman" as it is called the general in 3:15. Just as Eve was the mother of creation of age, Mary is the mother of the new creation. This woman will crush the serpent's seed head.
Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23 - a virgin (the Greek word used is "Parthena") will bear a son named Emmanuel, meaning "God is with us." John 1:14 - God in the flesh dwelling among us. Mary is the Virgin Mother of God.
Matt. 2:11 - Luke stresses Jesus with Mary his mother, and the wizards before dropping them, worshiping Jesus.
Luke 1:35 - the child will be called holy, the Son of God. Mary is the Mother of the Son of God, or Mother of God (Theotokos).
Luke 1:28 - "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you." These are the words spoken by God and given to us by the angel Gabriel (who is a messenger of God). Therefore, when Catholics recite this verse while praying the Rosary, are uttering the words of God.
Luke 1:28 - Also, the phrase "full of grace" is translated from the Greek word "kecharitomene. This is a unique title given to Mary, and suggests a perfection of the grace of a past event. Mary is not only "heavily favored". She has been perfected in God's grace. "Full of Grace" is only used to describe a person - Jesus Christ in John 1:14.
Luke 1:38 - Mary fiat is "let them do to me according to your word." Mary is the perfect model of faith in God and is worthy of our veneration.
Luke 1:42 - "Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." The phrase "blessed among women who are" really means "you are most blessed of all women" . A circumlocution is used because there is no superlative in the Greek language. Note also that Elizabeth praises Mary first, and then Jesus. This is hyperdulia (Latvia, but is not the worship owed to God). We can also go through Mary to praise Jesus. Finally, Catholics repeat these divinely inspired words of Elizabeth in the Rosary.
Luke 1:43 - Elizabeth the use of "Mother of my Lord" (in Hebrew, Elizabeth used "Adonai" which means Lord God) is the equivalent of "Holy Mary, Mother of God" that Catholics pray in the Rosary. The formula is simple: Jesus is a divine person, and this person is God. Mary is the mother of Jesus, so Mary is the Mother of God (Mary is not only the Mother of Jesus' human nature - mothers are the mothers of the people, not nature).
Luke 1:44 - Mary's voice causes John the Baptist to leap for joy at the heart of Isabel. Luke tells us that Mary is our powerful intercessor.
Luke 1:46 - Mary says that his soul magnifies the Lord. This is a bold statement of a young Jewish girl from Nazareth. His statement is a strong testament to its uniqueness. Mary, our Mother and intercessor, increases our prayers.
Luke 1:48 - Mary prophesies that all generations call blessed, like the Catholics in the "Ave Maria" prayer. The Protestant churches that have existed in all generations (none), and how many of them to call Mary blessed with special prayers and devotions?
Gal. 4:4 - God sent his Son, born of a woman, to redeem. Mary is the woman with the redeemer. Calling Mary co-redemptrix, simply by calling Mary "the woman with the redeemer." This is because "co" is the latin word "***" means "with". Therefore, co-redemptrix "means" woman with the redeemer. " Maria had a subordinate role only, but Jesus in salvation.
Eph. 1:1, Phil. 1:1, Col. 1:2 - the word "saints" (in Hebrew "qaddiysh") means "holy" ones. This is called Santa Maria, the largest of all the San.
Luke 2:35 - Simeon prophesies that a sword will also pierce Mary's soul. Mary thus plays an important role in our redemption. While the suffering of Jesus all that was necessary for redemption, God wanted Mary to participate in a subordinate role in the suffering of her Son, as it allows us to participate through our own suffering.
Luke 2:19,51 - Mary kept in mind all these things, and pondered it in his heart. Catholics involved in this recall Immaculate Heart of Mary and all the treasures and wisdom and knowledge contained therein.
