Look, it's very, very, terribly true that some pedophiles are using the function of a Catholic priest to have access to victims. They do the same thing, taking the role of other members of the clergy, scout troop leaders, coaches, public school teachers, etc.
But like not condemn all parents, stepparents all, all Scouts troop leaders, ALL coaches, and teaches all public schools, because a minority were found to be criminals, should not condemn all priests Catholics for the crimes of a few.
All parents must be diligent in protecting their children in all locations, not just the Church.
