Catholic priests were also monks?

Some monks have been ordained as Catholic priests and some have not.
A monk or friar, a man who belongs to the monastic orders in the Church as Basilians, Benedictines, Cistercians and Carthusians.
A monk can be a religious brother or priest. They take vows of celibacy, poverty and obedience, but only ordained.
If the monk is an ordained priest who may then hold a mass
Monks may have different jobs in a monastery.
  With love in Christ.

Most of them are. Some have not omplete law and are called brothers. Some only accept orders from the brothers, some are mixed.
Exceptionally monks can not order at all. You need a special permit, I believe that from the Vatican.

Um, some are not because this is a monk, which I think is a saint and he is a father can do and the Eucharist … or only brought with him ….

    In general, no.
However, in a sense yes, as Catholics believe that baptism is the baptism in the prophecy, priesthood and kingship of Jesus.

these are two different categories. Monasticism (monks) is a 'lifestyle' for a Christian, priesthood is a ministry. Historically most of the monks were not priests. In the past one hundred years in the Catholic Church has been most of the monks, priests, but are not necessarily related. St. Anthony the Great, founder of monasticism, was not a priest.
