* Is Catholic Firstly I would say, especially if you are not of Asia, do not ask about the underground Church or search unless there is a massive publicity. Check with the Chinese who are the Bishops in communion with Rome so that you can attend. The CPA is not in communion with Rome is so, if only available in mass, it is not necessary to attend Mass. As a Catholic, you can attend a schismatic church, where everything is there, but if it does so without the approval of the division. The key is to be prudent. Due to the situation in China is in the process of change, this may be something you want to check with their bishop or the bishop in communion with Rome, when visiting China. I would also suggest that the prayer for an end to the opposition while attending Mass.

Frankly I do not know. I would tend to say .. eh .. maybe not. The reason is that China is the real control of the churches, not Rome. China decides what is right for religion. Now, I have no problem with that (well, somewhat) if they call .. Church china or something. But they say it is a Catholic. It is not. This is a propaganda mouthpiece. I'm not even sure if the priests in China (official state) are true priests? Consecrated by a bishop of the Catholic Church. I'd ask for a fee, either a lawyer, a representative of his bishop or something. If I were going to China, I try to find out. It may be a case of ... if you have no choice, it's a good thing to do. But I do not think that I speak for the beliefs of the church. <shrug>

YES! It is not the language of the mass, is the fact that these churches are recognized by Rome. Given that after Vatican II, the Church has been more favorable ecumenicism.
