* Is Catholic You should not believe Reuters or most other news organizations when it comes to the Catholic Church because they are horrible in writing what was actually said. Vatican that no new list of sins or anything like that. Only Archbishop Gianfranco Girotti said what he believed. The Vatican did not say anything, the Church said nothing. I would point out that the Catholic Church is not going green. Make sure that the Vatican uses more solar and that now, but that does not mean that the Church is going green. If people read what the Pope is saying, has been highly critical of enviromentalism wrong as a kind of a new age religion. The Church has taught specifically "Jesus Christ, carrying the water of life" against certain philosophical budgets that are tied to environmentalism.http: / / www.vatican.va / roman_curia / pontificated ... The Reuters article is supposedly about "pollution is a sin," but the article has statements that are harder to bioethics (cloning, INF, etc.). It is also important to note that Europe is more like Batty in 'green' issues at the moment so it is not surprising that the issue will come from time to time in statements by the Pope or cardinals in their attempt to address the concerns of their herds. Rest assured the Church is not sold in the whole "green" policy. As with all issues that the Church wants to promote scientific research and debate. As more and more discussion and research are issues like "global warming" are on the losing end of the thesis (hopefully). The Catholic Church a dogmatic view of the environment is this: humanity is a steward of creation, but creation is for the sole purpose of helping to bring salvation to man. It is a very practical approach that frowns on certain aspects of the ecology and industry as the abuse of nature. For example, it is an abuse of nature to destroy unnecessarily to the pollution of a river as it is an abuse of the non-spraying of DDT to eliminate malaria in Africa. A good manager to keep the river clean and spray DDT.

I'm not Catholic, but I'm learning that the Vatican has identified what they think is a sin. I wonder what all the other questions on the subject in question. Thank you.

New developments in new situations will arise in the course of world history. Taking a view on the situation is not New Creation ---- sins. ---. If you have a beef against a particular belief and religion. Shown

I'm not a Catholic and I disagree. God the last word on the sins is in the Bible. No need to write a Vatican "new sins" Became man. That does not come from God ... I hope God has mercy on the Vatican ...

The new sins were mostly environmental. Like, do not pollute. So if it helps some fool who normally do not pollute the planet because it is a sin then it is a good thing.

Once again the media has misinterpreted, either on purpose or blown out of proportion a story involving the Church.
The most recent case is the interview a Vatican official gave to the press of the Vatican on the social impact of sin in a globalized society.
Here are some of the "owners":
+ "Vatican introduces new forms of sin"
+ "Seven More Sins, Thanks to Vatican"
+ "New sins as bad as the old sins - Vatican official"
+ "Vatican Updates Thou-shalt-not list
+ "Recycle or go to Hell, warns Vatican"
This whole scenario assumes that there is a list of sins that we can look up, besides the Ten Commandments or the seven deadly sins.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church does not even have a list of sins, but has an index of topics covered.
For the real story, see: Social effects of sin greater than ever, says Vatican official: http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories …

Nah, just sounds like something for people to pay attention. It was a mistake, in my opinion, to be so specific, the lack of respect for human life would have been enough, if I was the pope would have coined a new word for it ... um .... something like .... imviolism eh ... imviolism yes ... archetypal sounds, right? That covers everything I said. Why should we abandon the field of genetic research for evil people, we should not assume responsibility for cleaning up the mess? Is not that what God wants?
