Catholics, why do a small shrine to Mary?
If most of the OT and NT has been focused on prohpets and the apostles, why come and build a little over the shrines and things for women Mary?
and as a side note, I do not like Greek gods, so I'm really very fair. lol

Due to the Blessed Virgin Mary is the largest creature that God ever created.
Period. Exclamation!
If you think otherwise, create a discussion with you and a Jesuit priest and you both get a good time to talk, and then both cross-examined during the time the judges see fit.
Edit: I will pay for her plane ticket too. I'm being serious, not just be a fool, S Jeff can put on youtube.
For the same reason I have photos of my nieces in my fridge - are members of the family I love. For the same reason we have shrines to Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson - have an important role in the history and culture, and Mary has an important role in Christianity.
Basically for the same reason we have a large sanctuary of Abraham Lincoln - to honor a person who has played an important role in our lives, either nationally or spiritually. And that is not the role of our Lord and Savior, who play in our lives, which has played a more important role than the person who gave us our Lord and Savior, his mother? For this great honor and thank goft.
Why is a bonnie so worried about what Catholics believe. They are not content with what they do in their "meetings" (Shalllllbbbaaallllllllllaaaaahheee) I am sure that a kind of spirit in them.
It is a sign of our love for her.
Everyone has a special place in his heart for his mother, and Catholics believe in Mary as our mother, too.
What's sacred cows? You like?
The shrines are little to remind Catholics that Mary is the Mother of Jesus.
Why fundamentalists ALWAYS give Mary?
I think we all are afraid of it. Well - give him only a few years and then bets that I respect and honor of his too ..
Why idolize her!
good question, why make a temple at all?
It was not the mother of their god?
As I understand it, is a continuation of the pre-Christian pagan god worship.
