As a Catholic I only wish one thing about this issue and hope the Holy Father will direct the action as well: Every church, temple or chapel to hold the Tridentine Mass to be announced, in his weekly bulletin. And ad be in Latin! As Jesus and his apostles were all from Galilee, the first mass (the Last Supper) was held in Aramaic. I see no impetus for the Mass in this century to be held in that language.

I am Catholic. Therefore, I support the Pope. I agree with his teaching, because he is the Successor of St. Peter and the Vicar of Christ. Anyone who claims to be Catholic, but it goes against the teachings of the Holy See is simply deluding himself. Perhaps your question is: "Personally, I like the new ruling ...?" In this case, it would have to respond," Yes. " Pope Benedict XVI speaks to the rights of all Catholics to have Mass celebrated in the way it is celebrated for centuries. Catholic could never agree with that. Catholic can not be anti-tradition, it would cease to be Catholic by virtue. Our Catholic identity is rooted in Sacred Tradition, which together with the Holy Scripture, is one and only source of Divine Revelation. I hope that helps.

I care little that we Catholics, although the Tridentine rite is a bit disturbing. Vatican II was a powerful change in the church, Benedict sounds like it is a sign of potential investment.

Traditional Catholic "Lema We are what we once were. We believe that what we once believed. We worship as you once worshiped. If you were right then, we are now. If we are wrong now, that was wrong then.

There is a beauty in the Latin mass is universal, catholic, which means that it is the same as their native cree language.I re wider, but can do nothing to help heal some of the divisions in the Church is church. The as the Mass is timeless This does not mean that the mass can not be in the language that both are valid. We are all different, we can choose (not the same as choosing) to attend the mass, "which speaks to us as individuals.

* Is Catholic I am absolutely excited about this teaching. The Holy Spirit has spoken through the Pope. Although personally, I'm more excited about the document that is supposed to be released on July 10 - the companion piece of 2000, Dominus Iesus. It is good that Missal of 1962 is restored. Hopefully the restoration will help to redress the problems with the non-application of the current form of the Mass. .. a way that does not match what the Second Vatican Council wanted. Pope Benedict has spoken at length about this problem. There are about 1962 parishes, and my Latin is poor, so I certainly see this Mass for many years. But it gives me great hope in the possibility of working to reform the modern Missal and adjust to what we proposed the Second Vatican Council, rather than the product level for a moment, "as Pope Benedict calls it. As for praying for the conversion of sinners, which is what the Church is called to do for Christ ... to pray constantly for the conversion of all mankind. Jews belong to the patriarch, the prophets, and the promise ... if it only come to see that what we expect to have occurred in hope. If only I could see their Messiah.
