Therefore, Henry thought he was king and could start his own religion and how it could make the divorce. Did all the world to convert their staff and if not, as Thomas Becket, who was murdered. I think it was because King Henry VIII wanted a divorce from their wives. The divorce was against the Catholic religion, so Henry started elsewhere and proclaimed himself the leader.
The king became angry that the Pope wanted a divorce for cause which could have a young wife.
The Pope said that this was not a legitimate reason to dump his wife to the old king seized all assets of the churches in England and launched a version of religion that would allow him to get a divorce.

That is the result of Henry VIII dclaring himself the head of the Church in England. I wanted to divorce his wife who will not give you a son and the Pope was not granted an annulment.
