Churches as a child. The last time I went was probally some 10 years or more. I know you want to know God, but Im having difficulty in dealing w / the question of what my religion or as a Christian. My mom was Catholic. Was approved in April and almost feel like I have to look at him because I was baptized Catholic. I think worshi [p Mother Mary, I think we should worship God alone. So I'm confused on what to do. Your opinion will be highly appreciated. God bless

We share the view of Catholics in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including Eastern Orthodox, Anglican and Episcopal churches.
The Communion of Saints is the belief that all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When it dies and goes to heaven, do not let this family.
Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints. You, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Mother Teresa.
As part of this family, you can ask your friends and family here on earth to pray for you. You can also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Andrew, or your deceased grandmother in heaven to pray for you.

If you are interested in joining or simply learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information on their research group RCIA.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.
God loves His creation, especially when mankind will ask questions about Him!
It is not about you, or religion, but GOD! Where you meet Jesus? response wherever they are now! Hello! You do not have to go! it? Public baptism is an outward showing of changes in inward (sinners Christ) The fact is that every time you change cities a baptismal event can be done in the most recent excavations fellowship! OPTIONAL when a scholarship letter of age (or earlier) you. Now it's not doing what others expect of me, but how can I please God? relationship is like a day care.
Hello friend,
I understand your confusion. See Christ died for us, as all men born or unborn have been separated from God because of disobedience of the first man.
In order for man to be reconciled with God, humanity needs a perfect sacrifice, a sacrifice of innocents, which is Jesus. In the old testamnet one to be forgiven their sins, to get an animal and slaughter it without blemish. But God spoke through His prophets that he would give mankind the only true sacrifice. His Son Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!!! The Bible says he was without fault or sin.
Jesus said that no one can pass through the Father (God) except through him …. not his mother Mary, or Saint Peter .. etc. Those are religious acts. The religion is dead. Relationship with God is what counts. How often do you want to talk to him. once a year, every day or only when one is dead and left the earth? (the latter is too risky)
The easiest thing to do is accept that God is a sinner and I just want to say that reconciliation with you and believe that you sent Jesus, His only Son to die for me and mankind. Sorry for all the mistakes I made and I want to come into my life and taught me everything there is to it. Easy.
Find a church that encourages you to grow in their relationship with God does not focus on a sthat religious acts, which do not give peace and satisfaction that they are hungry … for more huh? Talk to God .. He hopes .. Try reading the Gospel of John in the New Testament .. im sure you will receive new revelation of God and of Jesus to read and which fit in God's great plan of life.
Love
The Holy Bible - New King James Version .. Shakespear is not English
God isn't real, lets start with that.
No worries lableing same. Read the Bible and have a personal relationship with Jesus! If it does, the rest falls into place. Good luck and God bless!
God is only one.He created the universe and everything and all laws.He is unique, nobody is like him .. Nobody else is worth of worship except the one God Almighty. He is always with you
whenever necessary uu caccall helps him and the way that is best for you, but sometimes do not understand.
He is the God who has no partner.
Nothing is like him. He is the Creator, not created, nor a part of His creation.
He is all powerful, absolutely alone.
No other entity in the entire universe worthy of worship besides him.
Is first, last, and eternal, when it was nothing, and will be when nothing else remains.
He is the all-knowing and all Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign.
It is only that it is capable of granting life to anything.
He sent His Messengers (peace be upon them) to guide all humanity.
He sent Muhammad (pbuh) as the last Prophet and Messenger for all mankind.
His book is the Koran, the only authentic revealed book in the world that has remained unchanged.
Allah knows what is in our hearts.
FACT: The word "Allah" appears 17 times in the first page of the Bible in Arabic.
not make things complicated .. emphasizes only the Bible and Jesus Jesus Jesus .. .. not just the priests, nor Mary, nor nuns, just good ol 'Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
Really encouraged to research fully divine universalism. It is a philosophy fulfililng and enjoyable for me. Do not feel connected with Christian churches. Explore new religions and philosophies. If you want a faith that makes possible an intimate relationship with God, talk to me a little more private.
You can reach me at roypmckenzie@yahoo.com.
I strongly recommend reading "Exercise Furious" by Tim King and Frank Martin.
He is God, there is no god but Him He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, He is the All-Merciful, the All Merciful. He is God, there is no god but Him He is the King, the All-Holy, the All-Peace, the Guardian of the Faith, the All-conservative, the All Mighty, the All-Compeller, the All-Sublime . Glory to God above that they associate! He is God, the Creator, the Maker, the Shaper. His are the most beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth increases! He is the Mighty, the All-Wise "
God is a loving and kind mother to her beloved son. "
this is the true God, my friend
Want to know more about him?
I like fifty-seven years old when the Lord found me. I say that the Lord found me because I was the lost sheep. The Lord is never lost, it has always been that where is the man who is lost and we must learn to listen and search for God. I think my faith is stronger because I do not accept so late in life.
Catholics worship only God.
Mary is not worshiped. However, it looks like a perfect example to follow God's will. She had the opportunity to have accepted Jesus and God's will for his son.
I strongly suggest you find a local Catholic church, a church or Remember RCIA process. go to listen and ask questions - no obligation
Amen!
First, I recommend you read the Bible with his open heart and open mind. (New Testament first, beginning with the Gospel of John, then age)
Another thing that helped me after reading the Bible is the religion of Christ witnesses against Lee
please read the book "Misquoting Jesus." These are the books of the Bible, how they were selected and translated and when they come from. Path after coming of Christ and they have often changed, for no reason textual.
then we know that you can learn about God is not like learning the religious doctrine or dogma. you might better study the big bang to understand "God."
Try reading the Bible you to find out. The NIV is the best version. His most self whrer you can understand.
you have tried along time ago the church, not work.i hope u have alook in the islam. You is GOD and you ….
Explain your situation to the best Catholic you know and trust their advice. Otherwise, choose one near the church and a priest to sit down with a frank, no obligation discussion about your options.
Email your zip code and we'll send you a list of Catholic parishes in your area.
For more information, send your question to http://www.askmeaboutgod.org and receive a personal, confidential and free of charge via e-mail response in about a day.
Catholics are also Christians. I'm not Catholic. I grew up Baptist. Have attended the Apostolic churches too. I say follow your heart. God and God alone is to be worshiped. I agree with you. We have a direct line with him in our minds and hearts. Those who speak and ask him to guide you in finding a place where they feel comfortable worshiping. Talk to him as you would for any other person.
One caution, do not rely on the place of worship on its own to ensure their salvation, or even its growth as a Christian. Study the Bible itself and the reading matches the reading too. You can get a great program of Bible study online that is very easy to use. Visit Valusoft.com. The Deluxe version has 31 Bible translations, 12 commentaries, references 8, 13 maps and 150,000 verse references! Was less than $ 15.00 when I have mine.
The more independent, more you will be able to determine if their place of worship is one in which it feeds. You can discuss what you read with someone who is knowledgable and will take the time. You can start with the director of Sunday school, or who teaches Bible study. Many churches have an introductory program for new members. Ask if you can attend without joining the congregation. It is at these meetings you learn more about the doctrine of that place of worship.
God is pleased that you want to learn about Him and He to that end has already imbued with the Holy Spirit. When reading, your understanding will be guided by this teacher. He simply asked to open his heart and understanding before starting their studies.
You can also see some excellent ministers on television. One in particular is enjoying Joel Osteen of Houston, Texas. He always gives a wonderful message of hope, love and healing.
God bless you my brother or sister. He already holds close!
Only your opinion matters! If you think you believe in God, that He is real - if not he is not real. Is in the sense of free choice.
Catholics do not worship Mary or the saints. That honor for his holy life and pray so that we can intercede for God and Mary and the Saints have won the approval of God is good to ask them to pray for us. Its called veneration. We have Mary as our mother in heaven, because Jesus was born and heavn crowned king of heaven. I suggest going to a wonderful Catholic http://www.ewtn.com your site can learn from them better than here in yahoo answers (no offense). good luck.
I invite you to explore the history of religions before giving much credence to any of the claims made by the current.
Do some research on different religions philisophies and see if it speaks to you. I am LDS and I love it!
Please let me share with you my testimony. I want what I went through to get to know God. followingmyjesus@earthlink.net
God loves you more than you know.
Martin Luther said. "The fewer words the better prayer."
If you are a Christian I believe that prayer is very highly recommended gentlemen.
You sound like someone who does not need to join an organized religion, necessarily, as it sounds as if you are looking to find God for yourself.
You may find that reflecting on the creation of self, within the simplicity in its complexity, will be with the only evidence that could even be a Creator God - the nature and the cosmos. Modern astronomy makes Boggle your mind, and the beauty of some of the very distant galaxies is striking. Take a hike up a mountain and meditate on the point of view, navigate in the sea, and try to see God in everything around you.
Do not feel you need a religion to find God in their lives. Try to find common elements among many religions and make them part of his personal vision of the world.
If you really love bingo you may want to join a church, however.
First, I regret the death of his mother's passing. I am also 37, baptized a Catholic. I have fought for many years with what is the correct way to worship. I've been back and forth to the Catholic Church and other Christian churches. It's something I have prayed about the answers and for some reason, as I said, I was led back to the Catholic church, where I am totally dedicated to the present. I can suggest to you that prayer, and research is the best, is something you feel in your heart (gut) to where it should be. I would also suggest the "Catholicism for Dummies" book, which has tons of information, and explains many of the misconceptions, such as "worship" Mary (not). Jesus is the center of the Catholic church and everything we do is based on it. Also I would suggest actually going to any Roman Catholic church and ask how it is possible to take classes (RCIA) or speak with someone in the church can give you the information you are looking for. I hope you find the answers, and grow to know and love the Lord.
While your getting answers from other people, you have to 1) not what the atheist who does not believe in God here.they to say what they shouldn't interest. 2) The Bible gives you all the answers you need. You cannot go wrong with it. start there first. 3) Find a church that preaches the gospel as a whole does not it.there are a large number of Christian denominations out there that carry the name of Christ but we do what Christ wants them to do. Try not to go to some churches denomiational. 4) pray. You can send me an email if you need more help. (Proverb7437@yahoo.com)
Well first you need to start by opening a bible and read it. Next, visit different churches until you find one you like. Next take a class in the church whether it be a kind of Bible study or any other class. You do not have to join a church to do so.
You must first answer the question, "Does God exist?"
This is the answer to that. because once we can prove God exists, lets try and find its attributes.
1) Connect a TV to the socket. No ignition. leave it as is.
My question to you, if no body switches to ON, you can change by itself?
2) is lost in a forest, you see a house in the forest. you are sure that this house was built by someone. you may not know who he is, but you are dead sure that the house has an owner. WHY?
3) You do not see infrared radiation, but you think your existence. you do not see the waves that meitted as we speak, however, you can feel it. you have not seen a single galaxy yet you think the presence of millions of galaxies. WHY?
4) You were not present when he fell over an Apple Newton. And he discovered gravity. but you think that Newton discovered "gravity." Have you seen this? However, you believe in the so-called "Gravity."
5) Nobody knows where the exact location of the "mind" and "soul" in the human body, however, accept its pre million.
If all they can say without seeing them, not the entire universe can be built by God Almighty?
The house in the forest must have an owner, running the gigantic universe with precision, balance, without an owner?
God exists and is unique.
Now let's see if he can have some human qualities.
Remember that man can not compare to dogs, cats, pigs, because if you can compare between them, then there is not much difference left.
Therefore, how can God have qualities that are supposed to be human? How can God have a picture, shape, his wife, son, etc. .. If God can be compared to anything in this world, then that candidate for the position of God is not God.
What does God want from us?
He wants us to submit ourselves to HIM. You can not have their own laws. If you buy a TV. Does not refer to the instruction manual for the TV? Or just mess as you like, because you belong to?
The body we have is not ours. Ctually its a gift from God that we should use as its guidelines.
All rules and laws made by humans are subject to no man doesn't know what is in store for him in the future. Also the bow to the will of God … In other words Submit your will to Almighty God. Enter Islam means "Peace acquired by submitting your will to Almighty God (ALA)
As a Catholic, I can only say that the worship of Jesus. We love to honor and respect to Mary as Mother of God and our heavenly mother, but not their religion. Many non-Catholics do not understand Catholic doctrine in regard to Mary. Who was the person closest to Jesus on earth? His mother was Mary. She was chosen by God to give his life and is an honor that we recognize as such. She is our intercessor with her Son Jesus in the sky … as Mary leads all souls to Jesus.
There is a difference between worshiping God and venerating the saints, or that Mary is the greatest of all saints. Catholics worship only God. However, we also practice the worship of saints, and intercessory prayer offering.
Mary is revered and honored - but not worshiped:
The uniqueness of Mary as the Mother of God
Gen. 3:15 - we see from the very beginning that God gives Mary a unique role in salvation history. God says: "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, between your seed and her seed." This refers to Jesus (the "wedge") and Mary (the woman). The phrase "his seed" (spermatos) not seen in other parts of Scripture.
Gen 3:15 / Rev. 12:1 - the Scriptures begin and end with the woman fighting satan. This points to the power of the woman with the seed and teaches us that Jesus and Mary are the new Adam and the new Eve.
John 2:4, 19:26 - Jesus calls Mary "woman" as it is called the general in 3:15. Just as Eve was the mother of creation of age, Mary is the mother of the new creation. This woman will crush the serpent's seed head.
Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23 - a virgin (the Greek word used is "Parthena") will bear a son named Emmanuel, meaning "God is with us." John 1:14 - God in the flesh dwelling among us. Mary is the Virgin Mother of God.
Matt. 2:11 - Luke stresses Jesus with Mary his mother, and the wizards before dropping them, worshiping Jesus.
Luke 1:35 - the child will be called holy, the Son of God. Mary is the Mother of the Son of God, or Mother of God (Theotokos).
Luke 1:28 - "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you." These are the words spoken by God and given to us by the angel Gabriel (who is a messenger of God). Therefore, when Catholics recite this verse while praying the Rosary, are uttering the words of God.
Luke 1:28 - Also, the phrase "full of grace" is translated from the Greek word "kecharitomene. This is a unique title given to Mary, and suggests a perfection of the grace of a past event. Mary is not only "heavily favored". She has been perfected in God's grace. "Full of Grace" is only used to describe a person - Jesus Christ in John 1:14.
Luke 1:38 - Mary fiat is "let them do to me according to your word." Mary is the perfect model of faith in God and is worthy of our veneration.
Luke 1:42 - "Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." The phrase "blessed among women who are" really means "you are most blessed of all women" . A circumlocution is used because there is no superlative in the Greek language. Note also that Elizabeth praises Mary first, and then Jesus. This is hyperdulia (Latvia, but is not the worship owed to God). We can also go through Mary to praise Jesus. Finally, Catholics repeat these divinely inspired words of Elizabeth in the Rosary.
Luke 1:43 - Elizabeth the use of "Mother of my Lord" (in Hebrew, Elizabeth used "Adonai" which means Lord God) is the equivalent of "Holy Mary, Mother of God" that Catholics pray in the Rosary. The formula is simple: Jesus is a divine person, and this person is God. Mary is the mother of Jesus, so Mary is the Mother of God (Mary is not only the Mother of Jesus' human nature - mothers are the mothers of the people, not nature).
Luke 1:44 - Mary's voice causes John the Baptist to leap for joy at the heart of Isabel. Luke tells us that Mary is our powerful intercessor.
Luke 1:46 - Mary says that his soul magnifies the Lord. This is a bold statement of a young Jewish girl from Nazareth. His statement is a strong testament to its uniqueness. Mary, our Mother and intercessor, increases our prayers.
Luke 1:48 - Mary prophesies that all generations call blessed, like the Catholics in the "Ave Maria" prayer. The Protestant churches that have existed in all generations (none), and how many of them to call Mary blessed with special prayers and devotions?
Gal. 4:4 - God sent his Son, born of a woman, to redeem. Mary is the woman with the redeemer. Calling Mary co-redemptrix, simply by calling Mary "the woman with the redeemer." This is because "co" is the latin word "***" means "with". Therefore, co-redemptrix "means" woman with the redeemer. " Maria had a subordinate role only, but Jesus in salvation.
Eph. 1:1, Phil. 1:1, Col. 1:2 - the word "saints" (in Hebrew "qaddiysh") means "holy" ones. This is called Santa Maria, the largest of all the San.
Luke 2:35 - Simeon prophesies that a sword will also pierce Mary's soul. Mary thus plays an important role in our redemption. While the suffering of Jesus all that was necessary for redemption, God wanted Mary to participate in a subordinate role in the suffering of her Son, as it allows us to participate through our own suffering.
Luke 2:19,51 - Mary kept in mind all these things, and pondered it in his heart. Catholics involved in this recall Immaculate Heart of Mary and all the treasures and wisdom and knowledge contained therein.
Mary - the Immaculate Ark of the New Partnership
Exodus 25:11-21 - the ark of the Old Covenant was made of pure gold of God's Word. Mary is the Ark of the New Partnership and is the most pure vessel of God's Word made flesh.
2 Sam. 6:7 - the ship is so holy and pure that touched him Uzzah when the Lord killed him. This shows us that the ship is undefiled. Mary, the Ark of the New Covenant is even more immaculate and undefiled, free from original sin from God to enable him to carry His eternal Word in her womb.
1 Chron. 13:9-10 - this is another account Uzzah and the Ark of God to dwell within the ship Mary, Mary had to be conceived without sin. For Protestants to argue otherwise would be to say that God let the finger of Satan touches his Son made flesh. This is incomprehensible.
1 Chron. 15 and 16 - these verses show the great reverence of the Jews had the ship - veneration, costumes, songs, harp, lira, cymbals, trumpets.
Luke 1:39 / 2 Sam. 6:2 - Lucas conspicuous in the comparison between Mary and the Ark of Samuel described highlights the reality of Mary as the immaculate and undefiled Ark of the New Partnership. In these verses, Mary (the Ark) and left / David arose and went to the Ark. There is a clear parallel between the Ark of the Old and the New Ark of the Covenant.
Luke 1:41 / 2 Sam. 6:16 - John the Baptist / King David before jumping for joy Mary / Ark then must jump for joy before Mary, the Immaculate Ark of the Word made flesh.
Luke 1:43 / 2 Sam. 6:9 - How can the mother and the Ark of the Lord come to me? It is a sacred privilege. Our Mother would come to us and leads us to Jesus.
Luke 1:56 / 2 Sam. 6:11 and 1 Chron. 13:14 - Maria / the ship was in the house for about three months.
Rev 11:19 - at this moment in history, the Ark of the Old Covenant was not seen for six centuries (see 2 macc. 2:7), and now is finally seen in heaven. The Jewish people would have been absolutely amazed by this. However, John immediately passes this fact and describes the "woman" clothed with the sun in Rev. 12:1. John is emphasizing that Mary is the Ark of the New Covenant and that, like the old chest, is now worthy of veneration and praise. Also remember that Rev. 11:19 and Rev. 12:1 are tied together, because there is no chapter and verse at the time these texts were written.
Rev 12:1 - the "woman" that John is describing is Mary, the Ark of the New Partnership, with the moon under her feet and her head a crown of twelve stars. Just as the moon reflects light from the sun, so Mary, with the moon under her feet, reflects the glory of the Sun of Justice, Jesus Christ.
Rev. 12:17 - this verse tells us that Mary is the offspring of those who keep God's commandments and bear witness to Jesus. This shows, as Catholics have always believed that Mary is the Mother of all Christians.
Rev. 12:2 - Some Protestants argue that because women had pains, was a woman of sin. However, Revelation is apocalyptic literature unique to the 1st century. Symbolism containing varied and multiple meanings of women (Mary, the Church and Israel). Birth pangs describe the birth of Mary and the Church was formed in the offspring of Christ. Mary did not birth pangs in the delivery of his only Son Jesus.
Isaiah 66:7 - for example, see Isaiah prophesies that before she (Mary) was in labor she gave birth before her pain came to her she gave birth to a son (Jesus). This is a prophecy of the virgin birth to Mary of Jesus Christ.
Gal 4:19 - Paul also described their pain as the birth pangs in the formation of the disciples of Christ. Birth pangs describe the formation in Christ.
Rom. 8:22 - well, Paul says the whole creation has been groaning in labor before the coming of Christ. We are all under pain of childbirth because we are reborn in Christ.
Jer. 13:21 - Jeremiah describes the birth pangs of Israel, as a woman at work. Birth pangs are often used metaphorically in Scripture.
Os. 13:12-13 - Ephraim travailing also described as the birth of their sins. Once again, the pains of childbirth are used metaphorically.
Micah 4:9-10 - Micah also describes Jerusalem as seized by the pains of childbirth as a woman at work.
Rev. 12:13-16 - in these verses, we see that even the devil seeks to destroy the woman, even after the Savior has been born. This shows Mary is a danger to the devil, even after the birth of Christ. This is because God has given him the power to intercede for us, and we must rely on your help in our spiritual life.
Catholics venerate saints and others:
Veneration / Honor de los Santos
Matt. 18:10 - the angels in heaven always behold the face of God. We revere for its great dignity and union with God.
Matt. 15:4, Luke 18:20, Eph. 6:2-3 Exodus 20:12, Lev. 19:3, Deut. 5:16 - was commissioned to honor our father and mother.
Luke 1:28 - worships the angel Gabriel to Mary to declare his "Hail full of grace." The angel heavenly honors human Mary, for her perfection of grace is superior to the angels.
Romans 13:7 - let's give the honor to be honored. When we honor the sons of God, honor God, He is the source of all honor.
1 Cor. 4:16 - the most important form of veneration of saints is "imitate" the saints, as Paul commands us to do.
1 Cor. 11:1 - again, Paul says, "Be imitators of me, and I of Christ." The ultimate goal of veneration is imitation.
Phil. 2:25-29 - Paul teaches us to honor Epaprhoditus almost died for the faith. How much should honor those saints who did not die for the faith!
Phil. 3:17 - Paul says to imitate him and others, which is the object of veneration. Veneration is not worship.
1 Thess. 1:6 - Paul says to the Thessalonians, "You became imitators of us and the Lord." This is the purpose of worship.
2 Thess. 3:7 - Paul says that the Thessalonians should imitate him and other bishops.
Hebrews 3:3 - Jesus is worthy of more glory and honor to Moses. This does not mean that the saints are not worthy of the glory and honor. Instead, it shows that the holy people are worthy of honor and glory of God's goodness.
Heb. 6:12 - the author teaches us to be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Heb. 13:7 - we must imitate the faith of our faithful leaders. We pray for her intercession and veneration for his sanctity.
James 5:10-11 - James teaches us to take heart from the examples of the prophets and Job, the suffering endured.
1 Peter 2:17 - Peter teaches us to honor all men, love of brotherhood, fear God, honor the emperor. Not living with Christ in heaven deserve the honor? Catholics believe they do, and honor the holidays, as well as honor those who live by the celebration of his birthday.
Gen. 19:1 - Lot reveres the two angels in Sodom, bowing himself with his face on the floor.
Gen. 42:6 - Joseph's brothers bow before Joseph with the face to the ground. This is worship, not worship.
Exodus 28:2 - is especially important to honor the religious leaders. Holy garments of Aaron to give dignity and honor.
Lev. 19:32 - we must also honor "the face of an old man." When the elderly die in Christ, we must continue to honor them, because death does not separate from us or the love of Christ.
1 Sam. 28:14 - Saul bows before Samuel with his face to the ground in reverence.
2 Chron. 32:33 - Hezekiah was honored at his death. We honor our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Lord. 44:1-2 - we must give praise and honor to whom the Lord apportioned great glory. This is our family in Christ.
God responds to our wishes and subordinates Mediation / intercessory prayer
1 Tim 2:1-2 - because Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5), many Protestants deny the Catholic belief that the saints on earth and in heaven can mediate our name. But before the teaching of Paul about Jesus as a "mediator," Paul urges supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be for everyone. Paul is therefore appealing to the mediation of others, in addition to Christ, the only mediator. Why?
1 Tim 2:3 - because this subordinate mediation is good and acceptable to God our Savior. Because God is our Father and we are His children, God invites us to participate in the role of Christ as mediator.
1 Tim. 2:5 - therefore, although Jesus is the only mediator between God and man, there are many intercessors (subordinate mediators).
1 Cor. 3:9 - God invites us to participate in the work of Christ because we are God's "fellow workers" and a family in the body of Christ. God wants his children to participate. The term used to describe "fellow workers" is sunergoi "which literally means, synergists, or cooperators with God in salvific matters. God does not need co-workers? Of course not, but this shows how much of Him as the Father loves his children. God wants us to work with him.
Mark 16:20 - this is another example of how the Lord worked with them "(" sunergountos). God cooperates with us. His eternal love, inviting our participation.
Rom. 8:28 - God "in the works for the good" (the Greek is "eis sunergei Agathon") those who love Him. We work as subordinate mediators.
2 Cor. 6:1 - "working together" (the Greek is "sunergountes") with him, do not accept his grace in vain. God allows us to participate in its work, because it does not need our help but because He loves us and wants to exalt us in His Son. It's like the father who allowed his son join him in carrying groceries into the house. The father does not need help, but the child is invited to help raise the child in dignity and love.
Heb. 12:1 - the "cloud of witnesses" (NEPhA marturon), which are surrounded by a large amphitheater witnessed the race from the earth, and actively participate and encourage us (the riders), in our race to salvation.
1 Peter 2:5 - we are a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices to God instructions. Therefore, under the head priest priests, but priests who participate in Christ's work of redemption.
Rev. 1:6, 5:10 - Jesus made us a kingdom of priests to God. Priests intercede through Christ on behalf of the people of God.
James 5:16, Proverbs 15:8, 29 - the prayers of the righteous (the saints) have powerful effects. For this reason, we ask your prayers. How much more powerful are the saints in heaven prayers, in which justice has been perfected.
1 Tim 2:5-6 - therefore, it is because Jesus Christ is the only mediator before God that we can be subordinate mediators. Jesus is the reason. The Catholic position thus gives more glory to Jesus. He does everything but loves us so much He desires our participation.
