Is there any sight of Honor of the Mother of Jesus to Mary in the Bible?

Behold! The angels said: O Mary! God has chosen you and purified Ti-Ti UP THE CHOSEN women of all nations. " Holy Quran 3:42
Previous chapter in the Holy Quran, named Sura Maryam "Chapter Mary" (XIX) named in honor of Mary the mother of Jesus Christ (pbuh), once again, is not an honor to Mary in the Christian Bible. Of the 66 books of Protestants and 73 Roman Catholics, not a name of Mary or her son. You will find books the name of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul and two score more obscure names, but no one is that of Jesus or Mary!
Is there anyone out there that can give me a quote in the Bible, which gives honor to Mary?

  1. Stanbo says:

God honored his former taking all the creatures by his mother of his Son. In honor of Mary, we are following the example of God himself. Mary special privileges were given to her by God, not man.
      God bless,
      Stanbo

  2. evening_ says:

    not in the Bible
      in the Koran itself

  3. Time & Again says:

It is an honor as a woman and mother. However, there is no reason to give it a special position. Virgin is a pagan worship practice.

  4. MuslimRo says:

is in the Koran and the Prophet saying. (peace be upon him).
Mary, the mother of Jesus, described in the Koran as special. She was born in a pious family of Imran 'Aal, his childhood and is characterized by a unique property that the entire world around him could sense.
The uniqueness of Mary explained to her by the angels:
(* Here! The angels said: O Mary! Allah has chosen you and purified thee - chosen thee above the women of all nations. Mary! Worship your Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow to down (in prayer) with those who bow down. ") * (Aal` Imran 3:42-43)
The Prophet Muhammad was also related in a hadith byAl-Bukhari reported that Mary was one of the best women that Allah has created.
      The Birth of Jesus
In relating the story of Jesus, the Koran describes how Mary, the mother of Jesus, was approached by an angel of God, bringing news he had never imagined that would give birth to a son, a Messiah who be righteous and be a prophet of God, called the Children of Israel (the Israelites) in the straight path of God.
      * ((And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Nay, Allah gives you glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, illustrious in the world and life, and one of those brought near (to Allah). It will speak to mankind in his cradle and in his manhood, and is among the righteous.) * (Aal `Imran 3:45-46)
Naturally, caste Mary, this news was both strange and seemingly impossible.
(* He said: 'Lord, How can I have a child when no mortal has touched me? He said: So (it is). Allah creates what He will. If you decide something, He only says:' Be ! and it is. And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel.) * (Aal `Imran 3:47-48)
The very nature of Jesus' birth is so special that God is unique compared to the creation of the first man and prophet, Adam.
      * (What! The likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then said, 'Be and it is.) * (Aal `Imran 3:59)
However, we are told in the Qur'an a miracle that Jesus performed when he was a baby.
When Mary took the child Jesus to his people, who questioned her, and as a baby in his arms, Jesus gave the answer. The Qur'an describes this scene in detail:
(* He said: "I am a servant of Allah, and He has given me revelation and made me a prophet, and he has blessed me wherever I am, and has ordered me prayer and charity as long as I live, (He) I have my mother to school, and not overbearing or miserable; Therefore, peace is on me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day that I shall be raised to life (again)! ") * (Maryam 19:26-33)
And the baby Jesus defended his mother from all accusations of adultery, and in few words, and explained that was why he was sent by God.

  5. Queen Kira says:

Zechariah's wife spoke to Mary and said: "Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." This verse is also used frequently in the Ninth Catholic.
There is also a part, while Christ was hanging on the cross that He spoke to his disciples and said (referring to Mary, who was standing nearby), "Behold your mother." He hopes to take care of her while it was gone.

  6. dubaiway says:

oh no, she was a woman, and although women tended to have some power in the Bible by Christians, who were excluded from the latest edition of the Bible and is shown as prostitutes or mothers from then

  7. Charles AKA CeeJay (Cheeky Lad) says:

    Good question indeed.
Said somewhere in the New Testament: "Blessed art thou among women."
She is best described as the Holy Theotokus
      which means "bearer of God"
      Theo = God
      Tokus = carrier
You do not need a book of the Bible the name of Mary, because she is far above the need to mention that, like Jesus.
It says in the Bible that the Bible is the mind of Christ. It would make no sense for Jesus to name a book after him!
Consider the notion that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God and the Word was with God.
Word, in this case was the ho logos in Greek. It identifies Christ as God's word and the spirit embodied in the flesh, eternal God, the second person of the trinity.
      I hope this helps.

  8. Cindy S says:

Mary is the mother of the Messiah … that's all an honor. The reason for the books Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan, etc., are named as the author is because of Mr. these books.

  9. spiritwa says:

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with you. Angle Gabriel announced to Mary that was to bring Christ to save all man kind. Jesus honored her. The apostles of his honor. She was taken up in the sky, so that God will honor. Enough? or need more? If so, get a Bible and read it. I read the Koran. I do not think so, but I've read.

  10. MrsC says:

How about the greeting of the angel Gabriel?
Ave, Maria! Full of grace! The Lord is with you!
Or when he saw Elizabeth's greeting to Mary:
      Blessed are you among women!
Or in the Book of Revelation:
Behold! There was a woman adorned with the sun. Crowned with stars and the moon under her feet.
Have you ever read the Bible ?!?!?
See late Pope John Paul II's encyclical on the Holy Rosary for more …

  11. foulweat says:

Mary accepted the blessing and favor of God … and I would say it is a safe way to honor.

  12. drivn2ex says:

Yes, in the book of Luke. Luke 1:28-45 to be exact. Mary is blessed.

  13. old know all says:

The Gnostics were a Gospel of Mary, but soon put a stop to this!
There are few references to Mary in the Bible. There is the "Hail, full of grace" in reference to Lucas, and "son, behold your mother" in John.
In Ephesus, the shrine was a Greek goddess, Artemis (the same person as Diana, but in his role as the virgin mother goddess). There is a reference to Paul in the closing acts of the silver shrine and putting out of business. A cult worshiping the mother of Jesus grew in its place. The Pope recently visited "the house of Mary in Ephesus, although there is no reliable record that was never there.

  14. C says:

This would be funny if it were not so sad.
Read the book of Luke, Hail Mary full of grace.
      Blessed are you among women.
Humans can not exceed the "full of grace"
When we are talking here we refer to Mary as our Mother Holy Mary "She has been blessed. However, do not worship Mary.
You can learn what you really think Christians through the study of our words instead of their Imam. When I wanted to learn about Islam, not to go to an anti-Islamic site, the morning went to Islamic site. That only made my faith stronger, I have much more understanding of Muslims and, although we understand, we do not want to kill each other.
For more information on Christians, go to a Christian site, not an anti-Christian.
Unless you are unsure in their faith.
      Peace and God bless!

  15. stoutseu says:

If anyone, just not my ….

  16. hillbill says:

I fear that the whole world will be wrong, but I hope not. In John chapter 19, verse 26, Jesus (the cross) looks down and sees his mother and his beloved disciple standing nearby, told his mother: "Woman, behold your son!" And in verse 27, he said to the disciple: "Behold your mother!" And from that hour the disciple took her into her home.
Nowhere in the New Testament Jesus calls Mary (his mother), "Mother", but "women". Although this term is closer to the mother in the sense that time and place than it is today, here in the U.S.

  17. pull my finger says:

"Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you"
      "blessed art thou among women."
      both biblical scriptures.

  18. MUHAMMAD says:

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
So their Lord accepted his grace with acceptance and caused him to grow an excellent growth and Zacarías guardian. When Zachariah visited her in the chamber, was found with its provisions. He said, 'O Mary where you have this? "She replied:" It was God. "Surely, God gives to whom He pleases without measure.
And remember, when the angels said: O Mary, God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above all women of the time. "
This is part of the news of the invisible things that we have revealed to you. And you were not with them when they launch their arrows, as to which of them should be the custodian of Mary, nor wast thou with them when discussing with each other.

  19. Heck if I know! says:

Of course not … because they realized that when the Scriptures were translated, it is said that Mother Mary was of age … not a virgin.
He then debunks whole "virgin birth" and "Immaculate Conception" theories.
So what did they do? Were carried out.
Furthermore, Catholicism is the only branch of Christianity that really honors Mary.

  20. J.P. says:

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee."
"Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb!"
Both are Biblical. The first of these is Gabriel. Elizabeth is the second if I remember correctly.
Jesus' first miracle was made public, in fact, against his will - "It is not yet my time," was his exact quote. And like a good Jewish mother, who is on the head in the room and said: "What that says to do." She put him on the ground. Jesus in their eyes and say, "I said that it is not time!" Of course not. He obeyed the fourth commandment. That his honor. HER well, Jesus performed his first public miracle that transformed water into wine.

  21. ♫O Praise Him♫ says:

    Luke 1
The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.
29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of banner can be. 30 But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call on Jesus 32.

  22. Desperad says:

    No.
BTW the Koran is not the Bible.
