Priests annoying children (and girls) has been going on for some time. The Catholic Church has paid millions of dollars in settlement money. Instead of doing something about the priests - such as reporting to the police - who just moved to other parishes where the priests did the same to other innocent children.
It seems as if about 40 years there has been a pattern of sexual abuse among priests and youth in the Catholic church.
What makes it particularly appalling is that, apparently, has not only known about the church, but has spent much time covering up the crime instead of trying to stop him.
