Marriage License in New York by the Catholic Church after already being married?
My wife and I were married in civil court and already have a marriage license signed and completed. We have now decided to marry in the Catholic Church. The church wants a new license for the priest to sign. Can we re-apply for a marriage license after already being married? Is there a special procedure for this situation?
