It is not a fallen away Catholic. She believes in
the killing of the innocent and helpless of all mankind, and therefore ceases to be Catholic. Your beliefs are separate from the Church. God bless!

Caroline Bouvier Kennedy (born November 27, 1957) is an author and lawyer. She is a member of the influential Kennedy family, and the only surviving child of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.
At the time of the presidency of his father was a small child, after his assassination in 1963, his family settled on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where he attended school. Kennedy graduated from Radcliffe College and worked in the city of New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she met her future husband, the exhibit designer Edwin Schlossberg. She was to receive a law degree from Columbia Law School. Kennedy working life has covered law and politics as well as education and charitable work. He has also acted as spokesperson for the heritage of his family and co-author of two books on civil liberties with Ellen Alderman.
In 2008, Kennedy endorsed Democratic candidate Barack Obama for president earlier in the primary race, later served as co-chairman of his Vice-President Search Committee, and addressed the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver. After Obama's victory and the selection of Hillary Clinton as his choice for Secretary of State, the Kennedy name appeared as a possible nomination for election to the vacant Senate seat in New York, but the January 22, 2009, Kennedy withdrew from the examination venue, citing personal reasons.

I think the most fun thing for Catholics is the label to find someone a person as "great Catholic." Wow!
This only serves to prove that just because a person is Catholic and is an important political family that the Church is not really impressed, even though people think they are "great Catholic." Many of us are tired or listening to someone identified as a Catholic.
      I'm ROFL.
Most so-called Catholic politicians like John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, etc. would not be acceptable to the Vatican. Rick Warren or Mike Huckabee would be much more acceptable.

The Vatican has denied the rejection of Caroline Kennedy as U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See.
Apparently, an Italian newspaper published the story and the rest of the world the news was published without the supervision of the facts.http: / / news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090415/pl_ …

As much hate to say, the reason is probably because she is a woman.
