+ + Priestly Celibacy
Celibacy is not dogma. This is a practice of recommending the Bible:
+ In Matthew 19:12, Jesus says: "Some are incapable of marriage because they were born, some because they were made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven . Whoever can accept this should accept it to. "
Jesus said that celibacy is a gift from God and whoever can bear to bear. Jesus praises and recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church. Paul acknowledges that celibacy is a gift from God and wishes that all were celibate like he is.
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:27, Paul writes, "Are you free from a wife? Then do not look for a woman. "
Paul teaches that men are not looking for marriage. According to Paul, marriage introduces worldly temptations that can interfere with the relationship with God, specifically in relation to those who become full-time ministers in the Church.
+ In 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul teaches, "I want to be free of concerns. An unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how you can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how can please his wife. "And in verse 38," Then, he marries his virgin does well, do not marry her will do better. "
Paul recommends celibacy for full-time ministers in the Church so that they can concentrate fully on the creation of God and his kingdom. "The couple who abstains from doing better."

The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (cf. 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the Gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some of the early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming "eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:12).
The concept took many twists and turns in recent years and probably a bit more before Christ returns in glory.
A priest is "married" with the Church. Some people think that a priest who takes his duties seriously can not take good care of his wife and family. "A man can not serve two masters."

Catholic Response: pedophilia is not a problem in Catholic Church. It is a question around the world. You have teachers sleeping with minors. You have the Protestant pastors who commit fornication. I know two Protestant pastors, who resigned from office by scandal.
a. Rev. Ted Haggard is one of them.

2. The misconstruement that clergy can not marry just because Jesus himself, chose not to have a girlfriend.
Catholic Response: Priest should imitate Christ and be celibate for their strong commitment to the people of God. St. Paul, in fact, remains unique, and recommend it for anyone who wants to stay just for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. You should note that the Eastern Rite Catholic Church, married men can be priests. Only in the Latin rite, the priest celibacy exercise.
a. The man was not and is not Jesus the Son of God. Therefore, it is not so strong as not to Jesus all the sins of the way it did. However, do try Catholic abstention from sexual intercourse that leads to horrible results.

a. Pedophilia, as I mentioned one. I also know that when I was Catholic and went to parochial school, where priests and nuns are known to be together for sexual encounters. In one case, a priest and the nun stopped being a priest and nun so they could marry. From this, other sins; hipocracy.

Pedophilia is not just a matter of Catholic Church. It is an important social problem that crosses no boundaries. Should be discouraged and people is what we are risking a big scandal in itself.
So you were a former Catholic who left because they had some misinformation or bad experience with the Church? One should not leave the Church to have a bad experience. You also need to take a closer look at what the Church actually teaches.

If God did not want to marry the man so why say that Adam married? Why Jews are married priest? I thought I heard once that even the Pope is married to one of them got was Paul said and did everything wrong on a doctrine of the Catholic Church.

I was a Roman Catholic since birth.
I am 27 now and I think I disagree with anything that the Catholic Church has to offer.
I still believe in Jesus Chirst But I've come to understand the story and how the Catholic church came to be and its pretty sick. The Romans had a religion and stated that, based on Jesus. Collect and edit the gosple to be what ever they wanted. It is the false church of Jesus with the money saying look at all the money they have is the truth of Jesus was not a lover of money, so why the church has billions of money and control them. FYI Visa is owned by the Vatican.
Pedophelia jesus thats not something thats a Roman thing. The truth is Jesus Maria men his age would be marie God made the union between a man and woman of the beauty of life without a doubt the Son of God most of them have taken part in the holyest the unions.
Catholic Church is not why the church would they not marry a woman but having sex with young children. fundamentaly is wrong.
