What does each line means the Apostles' Creed? [[Catholic Version]]?

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;
  and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
  Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and buried.
  He descended into hell, the third day he rose from the dead;
  He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, and from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, bodily resurrection and eternal life.
  Amen.

  1. Caritas says:

    "I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth";
      God is love (our father), Supreme (Almighty) deity. He existed before the world, creating and creating us.
      "and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord"
      Jesus is the second person of the Holy Trinity. He is the Messiah (Christ).
      "Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,"
      Mary never had sex, and yet she gave birth to Jesus. It was conceived from the union between a woman and a man, but through the power of God and the consent of a woman.
      "He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and buried."
      Pontius Pilate had him flogged and executed. Jesus, our Lord and God, died. Su cuerpo fue colocado en una tumba.
      "He descended into hell, the third day he rose from the dead";
      Before Jesus, were barred at the gates of Heaven. When he died, he joined the dead have not yet been able to ascend to heaven. On the third day after his death, Jesus was resurrected. He has conquered death and returned to life.
      "He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;"
      After 40 days on Earth, Jesus ascended to heaven and opened its doors to all the righteous. He resides there with God, the "firstborn" (the first in the heavens) between all people.
      "He will come to judge the living and the dead."
      Jesus decide who can enter Heaven and who stays out.
      "I believe in the Holy Spirit"
      The Third Person of the Trinity. The Messenger, Intercessor, and the Spirit of God.
      "the Holy Catholic Church"
      The Church of Jesus established on Earth through Peter, open to all people.
      "communion of saints",
      All saints, living and dead, are forever united in the body of Christ.
      "forgiveness of sins"
      With repentance, all our sins can be forgiven. Similarly, we are called to forgive the offenses of those who hurt us.
      "bodily resurrection and eternal life."
      At the Second Coming, the dead will be resurrected and their spirits united with their bodies. We will live with God in heaven forever.
      "Amen"
      In this I think.

    Awwwwwwwww.
      His version has all the "God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, and be one with the father."
      That one has a lot of things about the Aryan heresy behind him. A friend of mine did his research project on it. His presentation was of religious studies is more sexy.

  4. Foxx says:

    This means that you accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
      However, his belief in the Holy Catholic Church is not accepted in other Christian churches.
      The only thing holy is the Lord Jesus, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We, the people who believe in Jesus are the church.
      Somehow Catholics believe otherwise, and believe in prayer to Mary, the mother of Jesus. However, Mary is not God and we have to pray with her at all. She never rose from the dead, a miracle, was not creating the universe … y. who is not his spirit that lives within us and guides us. I know Catholics to pray for their prayer of intercession. However, it is not holy. And there's nowhere in the Bible, Catholic or otherwise that says she is, is said to pray the rosary.
      What he did is accept and agree to what the gods' Angel told her to be the vessel to carry the Lord Jesus Christ.
      I know this is not what you asked, but I wanted to repeat my answer means you accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. None Other offers salvation and answer all your prayers for their faith.
