What is the Catholic Church on Zionism?
'www.scripturecatholic.com' calls Zionism "anti-Catholic movement, which seeks to eliminate the Church as the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament."
However, 'www.catholic.com' is much more tolerant of Zionism.
So what is the Vatican's official position (if any) in connection with Zionism?

+ + Judaism
The Catholic Church officially teaches:
When he delves into her own mystery, the Church, the People of God in the New Covenant, discovers her link with the Jewish people ", the first to hear the Word of God.
The Jewish faith, unlike other religions, is already a response to the revelation of God in the Old Testament.
To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, worship and the promises are the fathers, and his race, according to the flesh, is the Christ," for the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. "
Neither all Jews indiscriminately at that time, nor Jews today, can be charged with crimes committed during the Passion of Christ. The Jews should not be rejected as discuss or accursed as if this followed from Holy Scripture.
Zionism + +
Zionism is a political movement that supports a homeland for the Jewish people in the Land of Israel.
I can not find any Catholic Church's position for or against Zionism.
+ With love in Christ.
Pastor Billy says: see my list and look for better answers to my previous answer about Zionism.
What is Zionism
1. not a religious system
2. is not required by Christianity
3. is not an end time prophecy
4. that is not the answer to Israel or the Middle East
5. not in the Bible
6. It is not a promise of God as all the promises of the former Peoples Alliance has already been met.
7 is not necessary for every Catholic Christian to believe in
Are you sure that these events
Zionism is simply a state of Israel. The Christian chuch agree that the Jews are the chosen people of God and always will be. The Gentiles are grafted in principle chosen. Some of God's promises apply only to Israel (the promise of land for example). The Christian people as gods, the Jewish people as especially privileged and have the particularity that we are their ally.
I do not think there is an official church position on Zionism, but the views of many senior church officials are negative towards it.
Zionism is basically that Jews believe God promised the Promised Land. The Zionists were mostly Jews who believe this, but not all Zionists are Jews and not all Jews are Zionists.
Iran's president is not really anti-Semitic, because condemnation of Zionism and not Jews. It is believed by some that the founding of Israel is Zionism.
Edit: also believes that Zionism is the Jewish race supreme. Think of the Zionists supremists metaphorically as white.
Zionism is itself quite vague, so we are asking for an opinion on a loaded term and vague.
I believe there is one, honestly, but in truth there is no doubt a Jewish state, as it now exists. Zionism in 1947, meant something different (the founding of Israel as a modern, sovereign) that today. Using contemporary means everything along a spectrum from the right of Israel to exist (from the Vatican maintains diplomatic relations with Israel, I would assume this point is compatible with) the manifest destiny of Israel to be a very Jewish-only state enlarged in the region (probably not supported, given the violence is necessary).
I think the official position is that everyone get along, that nations have the right to protect its citizens, but the exploitation of human beings (ie permanent refugee camps) are considered immoral.
In that sense, nobody really knows if the Vatican has an embassy in Jerusalem? I could have done that.
Political correctness. I've never heard anyone explain it clearly. "I am a socialist liberal, but I believe that Jews stink … but I'm really not a rascist. I Hate Israel. Or think they hate Israel. "
Typical liberal nut.
Although I have looked through the website of the Vatican and such - I do not see anything in particular that stands out in connection with Zionism, in particular: Since the founding of Israel, the term "Zionism" is generally considered in the sense of support for Israel as a Jewish nation state. However, a variety of different and sometimes competing, ideologies that support Israel fit into the general category of Zionism, religious Zionism as the revisionist Zionism, Zionism and Labor. Thus, the term is sometimes used to refer specifically to the programs of these ideologies, such as efforts to encourage Jewish emigration to Israel.
about my own opinion - Pope John Paul 2 was to Isreal, wailing wall and tried to lead a peace movement. apologized for the atrocities of holocust and failure to do more to help immediately and things as such. The RCC has the Jewish people "[God] chose the race of the Israelites to their own people and established a covenant with him." But they did not and do not recognize Jesus as the Savior discussed throughou thte Old Testament, in particular, Isiah. we are taught to pray for them so they can see Jesus for what it is and for us.
IMO Zionism is more about the land and the authority of Jews from the earth …. Do not think the CCR as a whole has an opinion one way or antother, however for the Jewish people as a whole - Jesus Christ and all who were Jews …. They are our brothers and sisters and God's chosen people.
