What is the reason that there were women priests in the Catholic Church, but are Anglican Women Ministers?

because Catholics believe that Christ commissioned his 12 apostles to preach the gospel. They were men and the priest only men.Priest in the early Church were married. It's all about money and property must be approved in the family. I think it is a time to practice deeply. I will chage belevie but not for long.

Anglican churches that are Protestant churches that do not follow the rules established by the Roman Catholic pope.

I do not know, but the Catholic Church needs to do something about the priest, taking into account that no one wants to be more priests. However, it could be because the Bible says that women should not preach, but must teach. I'm not sure why the Anglican church does not take into account that part of the writing. But, again, a lot of churches much ignorance of the Scriptures to fit what they want to hear.

  3. Meg says:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church now says:
The Lord Jesus chose men to form the college of the twelve apostles and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed in his ministry.
The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord Himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.
      With love in Christ.

because the Catholic church refuses to accept that God can give women a ministry.

  5. Mim says:

Different churches representing different rules, so there are different churches.

  6. Brent Y says:

The Catholic Church believes that the priesthood of Jesus intended to be exclusively male, and have no authority to change that.
Anglican Communion, of course, disagrees with this view, however, it should be noted that the Anglican priest's view differs from the Catholic and Orthodox (which also have no women priests), so it's apples and oranges.

  7. Meg M says:

Because the Church of Jesus Christ founded His teachings still, and I made it perfectly clear that he intended a male priesthood, choosing 12 of the 12 men as His first priests, despite the availability of many holy women, including his own mother .
The man can do the churches of the rules they want. There is no accountability. However, Christ Church is responsible before God for every decision, whether under its clearly revealed that, or in opposition to it.
Of course, ministers of churches are not artificial in any way comparable to the Catholic priests. These churches have no valid sacramental orders, and no priesthood. Women in the Catholic Church to do everything they do Protestant ministers, except for baptized Catholics and unordained men who do good.

Like all religions, all have "patriarchy" there are no women who have a high rank.

The Catholic church does not set the standard for the world church, nor for the people of God nor the Anglican group.
When we put on Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither bond nor free, neither male nor female, because they are all one in the Messiah (the Messiah) Jesus and His anointing!
      Galatians 3: 26-28.
Jesus sets the standard. The first person who will "tell" the discisples after the resurrection was Mary Magdelene and the other Mary .., a woman. Jesus did not give this task because there was no other option, because it made the deliberate decision to sample all that the 'good ole boys'.
There are many female ministers and preachers and filling every place in the kingdom .. and if anything is not usurping God's mission and gives gifts to her. To take something without having a seizure is a position or authority.
Women do not have a position on marriage is the "head", but have great influence and equality as the "heart". However, in the church, the anointing of the Holy Spirit is given to all men and women of all benefits .., the whole body of Christ. None of us has the right to decide how to serve or minister unless it is "the Lord", and then we can not! The men and the names may not approve, but God will make a way and place, whether it's your call in life. All believers are one spirit with God when they bind to it. (1 Corinthians 6: 15-17, Ephesians 2: 18-22 … men and women of the nations gentiles and Jews.
The religious world has typically been governed and controlled by men who did not understand that "leadership" does not mean "head dominant", but manager under the authority of Jesus Christ and an example of human nature and its name to the called out the '.. of the church.
Men and women have different roles in many aspects of life, but in the church there is neither male nor female in accordance with the actual words of God.

  10. gg28 says:

There are more women ministers in the Catholic Church that there are members of many major denominations. In most Catholic dioceses and many women do what men do except ministers preside sacraments. Most of the Catholic pastoral ministers (not sorted) in the U.S. women. Not all denominations are Anglican and ordered women to the priesthood or episcopate (bishop).
The sociological reasons for not ordering women to the ministerial priesthood (as they are sorted for the baptismal priesthood through baptism and confirmation and calls to the ministry of the Gospel) is that such a thing would be a great shaking. One reason is that theology has to be a male to be in persona Christi Sacerdotalis to act in the person of Christ as priest, and Jesus became the embodiment men and could become a Jew, but not become if a male is not born genetically male and .. The reasons are biblical Jesus chose no women apostles (disciples, yes) and the Church of the book of Acts and the Epistles not order women priests and bishops.
