In reality the facts are incorrect. In reality the facts are the opposite of their claims. Molestations fewer per capita than any other Christian group. I live in a predominantly Catholic country and the sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests is almost nonexistent. What is more common, although I would say that even in the minority, there are some priests who have sex with women and children, including parenting. Again, this is a small percentage of the priesthood. You have to remember that priests are human and commit sins.
Being celibate does not cause pedophilia .. Pedophilia is a mental illness. Most pedophiles in the world are married men. A child has 97% more likely to be bothered at home, school, sport or team, or day care after the Catholic Church or any church for that matter.
