The other day in the date "To Catch a Predator" that presented a rabbi.
I live in the U.S. and in general, I am only exposed to the U.S. Newsgroups so I do not see why I see the same stories going on in other countries.

I agree with you completely. In my small town, about a Baptist minister of abusing girls in church and a Seventh Day Adventist minister, whose own daughter pregnant twice. The first time I did have an abortion in the second half, and she told me that she lived with us until the baby is born. Was processed and the response was that there were many girls who were molested in their own family and church family. That was 20 years ago and is pastor of a church in Missouri, so if you know Jim Shipley, keep your girls away from him. Like the men who make me so angry because it will hurt children and hurt the reputation of Christians. They should be castrated. My nephew was raped in a Catholic school for a coach, but hung with the priests. Another child was killed and his body thrown into a stream. The parish priest who was transferred three days later without notice to his congregation. The murder was never solved. Good luck and God bless

I think it is a question of desensitization. The media reporting on things they think America wants to hear. Frankly, most people, not all but most people just turn a deaf ear if they hear something that happened in a different country. It is sad but true. Personally, I think very little time is paid to the current crisis in our country and others too long and paid celebrity actions. Who cares about Paris Hilton latest fashions or panty shot when we have brothers, fathers, cousins, sisters, aunts, who are killed overseas in a war that did not request? It is our country and we need to talk. If we want to hear the REAL news, then we have to call or write the big news shows. You know, the whole world tends to forget these children. It is up to us to be their voice. Thanks for the question.

I think it shows how anti-Catholic bias is there. In fact should not be happening at all no matter what religion anyone is. Children must be protected. The focus is always on the priests, when an incident occurs, but you never hear about a Protestant or other religions in the news. If only people leaving their religious prejudices and to pray for children who were injured and the men who committed these crimes, so that everyone can be cured.

Each country has a government and each government has the responsibility to protect its citizens. If we see a problem in another country, then it is up to the government and its own citizens to correct it.
Children are being abused throughout the world. No need to worry about which country has most abusers of children. We need to worry about how to stop it.
In addition, our media is not trying to protect any leaders. It's just that many Americans are concerned about just what is happening in America. Therefore, the media gives the people what they want. News of his own country.

You know the names of other priests of his own country and others, to inform the authorities. What has any religion has to do with it? will reduce the consciousness of his guilt?
