Jesus called the woman Mary, when he stood in the temple and found Mary, said the woman did not know you must be about my father business.When Jesus was preaching in a tent, the disciples said, Master his family is away, said this is my family.I know much has been omitted from the Bible, Mary was very special to be chosen by God, and the apparition of Mary in the world are a puzzle.After Jesus died not we hear more about Mary, or when and where he died.

He called her "mom" or the equivalent in Aramaic.

This is where things get a bit complicated. I can not find the verse, but I will take a while. But it is mentioned many times for us just pray to God or in Jesus' name. And makes a pretty big statement about prayer to others, especially the dead.
Also, Mary the mother of Jesus, only mentioned about 10 times throughout the Bible. Maybe less. And basically a whole religion is based on it. It seems a bit strange. But you can never have direct answers to many Catholics.

The Gospels tell us that, "filled with the Holy Spirit," said Mary, "Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." It is from this passage that the term has been given to Blessed Mary.
