Yes Iam attending RCIA classes as we speak I will be baptized next Easter. Before I went to the Catholic Church, I follow no church or religion in particular, that all who attended were false and preached a false gospel and I know that just because the Scriptures do not match. I just followed God and the Bible. Then in December the Lord took me to his church and I've never felt so at home and at peace and can actually feel the Lord in this church. I never could feel God's presence in any of the other churches I attended.

Although I have my parents were Catholic before my birth. The conversion process is a heavy and long term, RCIA classes were very informative and at the end I was most enjoyed in my conversion. Now I have been a Catholic for 3 years and I feel blessed, although I am still young. I know and I think this is the church of Christ began. While still a Protestant told me a pack of lies about Catholicism, once I studied myself really surprised me.
      Thank God.
Edit: es http://www.Jesus savior.com is a place where you can learn the type of garbage being taught Protestants over Catholics.

I know more people who have changed Protestant Catholic.
conversion …. many classes … if divorced, the classes, paperwork and fees to its cancellation … read about the religion before taking the step to make sure you can follow all the rules.

I became the Methodist Church to Catholic when I was in college. I've always been attracted to the Church for the Mass and the Eucharist, and as soon as I was on my own, I went through RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), along with several of my friends.
The whole process took about three months, and we meet weekly to discuss the catechism. Then they were received into the Church, and have been a practicing Catholic ever since.
I love the Catholic faith, and is where I feel at home. Attend Mass and receive the Eucharist brings me closer to God, and I love the stability of the Church calendar year. The Catholic Church is a great source of peace, comfort and joy to me.

That's a little strange, since they are opposites in some issues that a Protestant would find difficult to accept.

Probably everyone who wanted to drink, have idols (images), and pray to a priest instead of God.

My best friend become Protestants and Catholics seem much happier now. The conversion process has been easy for her and she has more faith in God.

Never leave the church of God to the false church.

I did over 40 years. It has deepened my understanding of Scripture, life and history. I am a history buff. Cardinal Newman, said she knows the story is to be Catholic.
I think what I found in Catholicism to Protestantism is not suffering is redemptive. The meaning of why we suffer. Jesus suffered and died to redeem us. Catholics believe can unite their suffering to the suffering of Jesus on the cross as a prayer for world peace, saving the world, for the conversion of sinners, etc. will not be easy. They have a bad headache and it's hard not to think about anything but his headache, but can be done.

I became a Catholic atheist. The conversion process is the same for everyone. My life has changed substantially, except that part of the fundamentalists hate me for my beliefs.

I will be received on 7 April 2007 in the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I am a lifelong church member of the Nazarene and now will be Catholic.
If you want to know what is like RICA - For me it was something to do after the Lord did the conversion work (reconciliation) before.
RCIA is a series of classes exploring the beliefs and practices of the Catholic Church. Ours met from September to Easter for 2 hours once a week.
Please do a search on "deep gratitude" and "Catholic convert" to find my blog on my process of reconciliation.
I encourage you to follow what the Lord has put in his heart. I was missing my knowledge in my own Protestant church. The Lord showed us that He had left his tangible means of grace in the sacraments administered by earthly authority. Do not miss!
