I went to a Catholic elementary school and High School. I thought, always, in a supreme being ….
at this point in my life, I wonder if I missed it Devout (sp?).
I am questioning my faith and I need simple answers for simple people like simple seems to have done.

Mary was a virgin when she conceived. The Holy Spirit descended upon her. At the time of the conception of Mary and Joseph were already married, but Mary was engaged to Joseph (Matthew 1:18). There is no evidence that Mary never spoke with God. Catholics would have us believe that Mary was Catholic and Jesus was a Catholic too. However, they were Jews.
