How can you be a Catholic or a member of the Protestant Church, when?
Can you think of the thousands of people burned alive, slowly roasted alive on a spit of smoldering red hot pincers dismemberment of body parts delecate then sprinkled with holy water, "recorded in children before their parents tortured, sawn be half alive and tips pulled from their sockets.

This changed when the reform was different. We are not saved by works or doctrine, or even attend church. We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ.
