How does a Catholic confession?

I am not Catholic, but I'm writing a novel about the Catholics and the need to do some research and this is an area that is very difficult to guess. I need to get my right confessional scenes otherwise I think that does not ring true. Just need to know things that the priest may say inside the confessional, so I do not know the reasons that people confess.
  Thanks in advance.

It's a persoanl belief. Catholics are taught to believe that forgives sins. Others (some non-Catholics). If you can find a way to talk to a dead Catholic religious devotion was to go to confession and receive Holy Communion, ask … which is really the only way you'll find out for sure.

Every time I went was something like ..
Go in.. It is called a confession box is called .. confessional
I say, "Excuse me father or I have sinned."
He says: "How long has it been since your last confession?"
I say "me ____ weeks / months / years since my last confession." (Usually consists of a number of weeks, months or years)
He says "Yes". (which is to begin to confess)
As the confession over what you say "Yes" to indicate you are hearing or "Y" to indicate it is listening and realizes that have stagnated in the confession … or "Is that all?" when it seems you've finished ..
It's like talking to someone whos only job is to listen (which is the type of work) to interact, but only to hear until they get ..
When you finish the priest is usually assigned a number of "Ave Maria" and possibly rosarys (a set of praying the rosary using as a marker of the number of times each ball indicates 1 tells time through prayer so that if a set of rosary has 10 beads accounts "I know the number is low, but makes it easier explainng" and has told you to make 25 rosaries know 2 and 1 / 2 times around and you're ..)
No, I'm not Catholic, nor have I ever been Catholic, used to go to confession with a friend who used to have contests to see who could make the priest fall from the Bible or panting first shock, etc. ..
I learn there must be some very freaky people confess because some of the things that we said no, not even a blink did priest let along something bigger ..

It is not difficult to understand. Like many things in Catholicism is a formal ritual. The same things are said by both sides at a time (with the exception of sins). Surly we have seen in many movies. Actually been done to death. You can Google the ritual of the sacrament of confession and find it.

I do not know what the purpose of a confession in the first place. God already knows what she did that dont need someone to say. And there is only one punishment for the wages of sin is death and all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God., But oh yes, there's that word, but God so loved the world that he sent his only son begotton , so that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life. ~ ~ Thank God ~ ~

Confession is good for the soul. You enter the confessional and say: Excuse me father for I have sinned. It has been x days or years since my last confession. State the facts. Then make an Act of Contrition (to demonstrate that you repent of your sins). The following are blessed and your sins forgiven in the name of God. You may or may not receive a forfeit. This is not a punishment, but contrition. What is said in confession can not be disclosed to anyone for the High Priest. There is no exception. Ever.

I tell them it is a fact that man has no power to forgive the sins of another Mans is a privilege of God alone. When Jesus was on earth was qualified to do so, because it was "perfect." You can only forgive sins, if Jesus were like - perfect. All vicars, clergy, even the Pope has no right or power to forgive sins. De Jesus was against the churches, do not say they were "like whitewashed tombs, clean on the outside but inside full of dead men's bones and all corruption mens"
So if you thought of them at this point of view is what you really think they would be allowed to forgive sins?

Your best bet is to find a priest sympathetic to their needs.
There is a basic ritual involved in confession, but some things like the penalty for a particular sin, or advice would you give the priest-is specific to the confession and the priest.
Say you are writing a story, ask him what to say.

  8. cindy says:

You go to the priest and ask that you would like to take confession. You set the time. You sit in a booth and he is on the other side. You tell him your sins and tells you what your punishment is.Its much better go to the source. (Jesus)

I went last week, the fund into a small room, sitting or kneeling before his confessor, start with a prayer, forgiveness, then tell the priest your sins or faults, and wait for the priest to you Council. You are really confessing Christ, not the priest, since it is only a figure of Christ? The priest can not disclose to any body of your sins. And I can say this, you go out, so fresh and clean,

    I am not a catholic.but case.
that a child does something bad.and realizes it.he going to his father and said, Father I've done this and I know it bad.will forgive me.
of course my son.it 's good of you to say me.but dont do it again.
but the child does it again and again.will Father forgive him again and again.no
It's the same with father.if saint who has done something really bad must repent IT.and creater.because apologize to her that he knew what he was doing was wrong.
a priest in a church can not forgive alone.talk You.you can confess his holy even more and Lištná.
But true forgiveness comes when you do something bad to someone who apologize first.

My source is on FAQ and how-Catholics to a description, but can give an idea of what happens.
I can tell you that there is a general feeling of relief to leave the confessional, if one has really examined his conscience.

The priest leans over and bless you with his finger. Writing a book about this place.
