If you have never been baptized in the Catholic Church are not Catholic. It appears that you are a researcher Chrisitian, a person interested in Christianity, but as yet baptized. You should probably talk to a Catholic with a Catholic priest.

Read your Bible. Then, when you have an understanding of it, especially the Gospels Matthew Mark Luke and John. Then look at the different religions. The Bible is the only way to God. Do not worry about religion worry about finding the truth. If you go to church does not follow the Bible, then find one that does. Church of Christ, is the Bible.

If Protestants, those outside the Catholic Church are considered. The term applies to non-Christians to Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy.

I stayed with the Catholic party. It's great over here! (I'm Catholic!) Anything that is not Catholic is Protestant, whether it is Christian.

If you are not Catholic, the Catholic Church considers ou Protestant. Technically this is true, I suppose, however, I am a former Catholic and did not follow Catholic doctrine or dogma over and I do not consider myself Catholic denomination. Do not label myself as either Protestant, though is the category I would fall in'm simply a Christian from any denomination and attend a nondenominational church. Why do you need a label? Why not follow Jesus and obey? It's good to go to church and communion, and is commanded by Jesus, who was baptized at all, but religion is not what you need. The relationship with Jesus Christ is what you need. Search around a church that teaches the Bible and not add or subtract to the word of God and go. S f you follow Jesus, please also obey and receive the baptism must come from butthis YOUR choice and the heart, for no other reason, only then is real and only then you, your choice, love and follow Jesus. BTW - is not the label or in the local church that brings salvation is that Jesus alone to do so. In order to choose which side is irrelevant unless you just get to Jesus!

It might be more accurate to say simply "non-denominational. There are other flavors that Protestants and Catholics ... Coptic Orthodox, etc. So we can just avoid the whole issue by saying: "I am in the category of Christians, but not aligned with any church or specific names. btw ... Catholic simply means "universal", so there are Catholics and Catholics ... The Apostles' Creed says, "I believe in the Holy Catholic Church" ... so depending on whether or not benefit, either way you are a member of the Catholic Church. [But I admire his integrity and not claiming an affiliation that does not believe in gaining an advantage]
